Hayden pulls me completely off of the woman. I come to my senses again when I hear someone yelling.

"Get them!" A tall and muscular black man in a black suit says, pointing at us.

Now everyone is staring at us, frozen in time, watching, waiting for us to make the first move.

"Hayden..." I don't look at him when I say it. Both of us are surrounded by mafia and gang members, we're in position to fight if we have to. Our feet are planted, we are ready.

"Adeline, on the count of three we run for that exit," he says pointing with his eyes. My eyes scan the room and I see it, an opening in the sea of people, a door. "Adeline, do you see it?" He asks.

"Yes," I say quietly. We haven't looked at each other for the whole conversation.

"One..."

"Two..."

"THREE!" And we both bolt for the door. I hold my dress up high, it's balled up in fists. In all the commotion when fighting that lady, my mask had slipped and is now crooked.

Hayden and I make it out the door, mafia leaders and gang members chasing after us. The door leads to an alley, the back of the bar. It smells like cigarets and trash. It's dark and I can't see anything.

Hayden grabs my hand and steers me in the direction he wants me to go. We turn the corner and there's a motorcycle. I stop, Hayden let's go of my hand. I look behind us, we've put a lot of space between us and the others.

"You have a bike?" I ask as he gets on. He grabs the helmet but doesn't put it on.

"Yes, and it can do a lot more than look pretty. Get on."

He hands me the helmet as I get on, watches me as I put it on and then tightens it when I move my hands away.

Once my helmet is on, he leads my hands around his waist, overlaps them and holds them tight over each other with his left hand. With his right hand he turns on the bike, with a loud roar from the exhaust, it starts.

"HEY! GET BACK HERE!" Some yells from the alley as Hayden starts driving.

We pass the alley as three muscular men run out and shake their fists at us when they see us zoom by.

It's only when we're out of trouble that I realize, my hands are touching Hayden's muscles. Why have I never realized how strong he was? His abs are like rocks.

It feel like I'm holding a rock.

Hayden keeps looking at me in the rear view mirror. I think he knows what he's doing. Putting my hands on his abs like this. He definitely does.

I decide to be a tease. I move my hand around his body, feeling it out. Obviously just out of curiosity, how many muscles can one person have?

As my hand slides up his body, closer to his chest I hear him say my name, loud enough for me to hear it but barely. It sounds like a plead.

I smile, my cheeks flush.

I try to go higher, to his upper chest area, near his collarbone but he grabs my hands with his left hand.

He pulls them back down to his waist and holds them tighter so I can't break free.

I feel my dress sliding up my thighs. A small squeal escapes me when I try to break my hand free from Hayden's grip to pull it back down but he's too strong. I can't pull away.

I watch as my dress slowly flows closer and closer to revealing me.

"Hayden," I say over the sound of the wind, I have to scream it just to get the sound free from the helmet.

I see his smirk in the rear view mirror.

"My dress!" I yell. He reluctantly lets one of my hands free and I use it to hold my dress down.

That's when I realize how fast we're going. I look at the speedometer and see the number.

187.

188.

189.

And the number keeps going up. And up and up and up.

I suddenly have the urge to let go. To feel the air trying to kill me, push me off the bike and end my life.

The mafia wasn't the only thing trying to kill me. So was nature. Wind so strong it could bring a grown man to his knees in seconds, was trying to end me aswell.

I can't help but smile. Who knows why, maybe I feel wanted by someone even if it is just because they wants to kill me, maybe it's just because I'm on a motorcycle going 200 mph.

"You okay!?" Hayden asks, yelling over the wind.

"Yeah!" I yell back.

______

When we get back to the school we have to go through the woods to stay unnoticed. We climb up the rope of blankets left hanging out the window for us.

"We we're so worried!" Daniella yells once we're both inside. "Why aren't you wearing your ear pieces!?" She yells.

"We weren't allowed to. They got taken away before we even got in," I answer.

"We can tell you what we learned tomorrow. It's late, let's all relax and go to bed. We can meet up here again tomorrow morning," Hayden says.

Everyone agrees. As we begin to leave, Mateo points to Mattie and Abby.

"What do we do with them?" He asks.

"Let them go," Hayden responds. A sad look on his face, though I don't know why. "They can't hurt us without getting themselves hurt."

Mateo nods and unties them, "your free to go" he says. The two girls get up and look around in confusion, not knowing what to do with themselves anymore as they are led out of the room. I watch as Mattie and Abby walk down the abandoned hallway.

It's a shame nobody even realized they were gone.
