"Bri come back here!" I yelled for my girlfriend as she stormed out of Caydens house I followed her out and into the front yard that was littered with cups and trash. "No Shane, im done, im done with the partying, im done with the drinking, im done woth you acting like a dick all the time. Seeing you making out with Rebecca Peterson is more than the last straw." She looked at me her eyes filled with pure rage. even though she was incredibly angry she was still incredibly beautiful. Her jet black hair fell around her face softly, her lips still looked soft and sweet. "im sorry ive been drinking all right." I slured. "Shane your drinking all the time." She yelled at me, and I knew she was right I was out of control but still, I couldn't resist her. I walked up to her and tried to brush her hair out of her face she pushed me away. "Dont you dare touch me." She yelled at me again. "Cmon i love you Bri." I said my speech slurring a little bit. She folded her arms across her chest and took a moment to speak choosing her words carefully. "No you don't, not any more at least. Maybe you did but not now, your not the same person you were in the fall, your not even the same person you were two months ago. But I still love you Shane, that's why I put up with all your shit for the past three months, that's why I'm standing here now. But I can't do it anymore." My head was spinning, I didn't know what to do but I knew I couldn't lose her. "lets talk about this tomorrow, when we've both calmed down." she scoffed at me, and shook her head. "Im calm Shane, I know exactly what I want. It's not you, or at least not this version of you." I felt my stomach toss and turn, I definitely had too much to drink tonight. I ran over to the bushes and threw up. When I turned around Brianna was walking across the street to her mothers car. "Brianna wait please talk to me." I yelled out at her, but she didn't turn around, she didn't even turn her head to glance at me. I was nothing to her, and I had nothing left.
Present time, Northview. Alabama
I broke out of my trance, she was gone, Elli was gone and I had fucked up again. but this time it'd be different I would fix things before I lost her forever, or before I lost Julia, I turned around and left my room, I had talked to Julia before running after Elli, she told me it was okay, she said she understood, I had to find both of them. I practically ran downstairs trying to find any one of my friends. people tried to stop me and talk I told them the party was over and shoved them out of the way. I reached the kitchen where Colin, Matt and Miranda were around the kitchen table or should I say makeshift beer pong table.
"Dude what the fuck is going on?" I stopped and stared at Colin who wasn't as drunk as Ellianna but was definitely intoxicated. "Have you seen Julia or Elli?" I asked panicked. Colin glanced at the two siblings who were placed at the far end of the table and currently laughing at me. "try both." he shrugged his shoulders as we walked away from the table and out the back door to the surprsingly empty backyard. "how were they." Colin raised his eyebrows at me, im glad someone was at least getting some kind of amusement from this situation. "You fucked up." he told me laughing, I was irritated he thought this was funny but I decided not to give him shit for it . one because I needed his information secondly because he was very drunk. "okay where did they go." He shrugged his shoulders. "Ellianna was like crying and shit I don't know where she went and Julia I guess was okay she was just like pissed a little." I nodded my head, I could deal with pissed Julia what was destroying me was Elli's reaction. I had fucked up again like I did with Bri, except this time she was the drunk and upset one, not me.
"so who you gonna go after." Colin broke me from my trance with his asinine comment. " if I can help it both of them." I told him. he shook his head. " you can't have them both. I looked up and the night sky and sighed. "I know that."
"I thought you liked Ellianna?" Colin gave me a confused look, I didn't blame him I was confused too, because I did still like Elli, I knew I couldn't have her, that was clearly evident with the flashback I had, had just moments ago,I had already fucked up and hurt her, I wouldn't allow myself to hurt her like this ever again. I knew alcohol had only fueled her emotions tonight but still, seeing here laying there on the floor crying drove a knife through my heart. on the other hand there was Julia, so sweet and understanding, she always saw the best in people and couldn't see anything else. And she let me run after her, after we had our first kiss. I felt guilty I shouldn't have run after Elli, I should've stayed with Julia. that was who I needed to find, besides how far could Ellianna go anyways.
"it docent matter, Julia is my girlfriend now, I need to find her." Colin gave me a disapproving glance. " Just letting you know, go after whoever you want but Elli better not be fucked up Monday, that girl is like my sister. I will beat your ass if she's still upset." Colin stumbled towards me and placed a finger on my chest acusingly. I had to remind myself he was extremely inebriated, because I got fired up over his thin threat. "where's Julia?" I asked him again getting irritated, he rolled his eyes. "she went back upstairs told me she would wait for you in the media room." I started to walk away having all the information I needed at the moment. " hey im serious, you better fix all of this by Monday, things are finally back to how they were." Colin hollered at me, I gave him a glance and then a determined look. "yeah buddy, that's the plan." and that was my plan to not lose Elli or my new girlfriend, to keep things how they were, which was absolutely perfect.
