i'm sorry we drifted through time in different ways, and stopped being an option for each other before we realized
your artefacts in me are in glass cases
but it's getting blurry, somehow they're dusty
i believe we would still think about each other from time to time, because i still do
but the interim extends longer and longer
and we're more and more helpless each time
i wish i wasn't the one who let go first
i wish i could know that for sure
but we were so little and it was a heavier world before, not one anyone couldn't just fall under
still, to be human is to be in motion
as life shifts in space time
i wish one day we would steer towards each other
