I walk through the double doors & it's like I'm in some movie. While I walk to my locker I turn my head & see people staring at me with a shocked look. I wonder what happend? Well, I did dye my hair, some people say it brings out my green eyes. That's what I'm known for in this school. The girl with the beautiful eyes that gets picked on.

I'm going to try my hardest to keep a smile on my face today. While I get my Algebra book for next period I hear somebody walking. Whoever it is they're getting closer, because I hear the steps getting closer. "Well hello their gorgeous, looks like you haven't changed." I turn my head & it's someone I least expected, it's usually some jock that plays around with me.

My bestfriend Delia from middle school. Memories come rushing back, I drop my algebra book , & give her a huge bear hug. We've been texting each other, facetiming the whole summer, & she never told me about transferring to my school. I'm glad I have my bestfriend back. "Delia, what are you doing here!?" I said ecstatically. "well.. I begged my mom the whole summer if we can move back.. & she finally gave in & said yes! I wanted to surprise you."

"I'm glad you did, of all years I definitely needed you this school year."

"So theirs only one thing I need to ask you now." She didn't even hesitate, she knew me already so she gave me her schedule. "Yes! We have five periods together, including gym." We're gonna so own gym. In our middle school we were both on the soccer, basketball , track &field, & even the volleyball team. You can say we're kinda sporty. "Hah, they would put us in gym together." She goes to her locker which is on the other side of the hallway, to get her Algebra book. While I pick up mine from the ground, since I dropped it from being so excited of seeing my bestfriend. As she walks to my locker again we cling arms and begin our way to algebra. "I've missed you" she whispered. "Not as much as I missed you, I've needed my bestfriend for the longest." She smiled. Maybe this school year won't be so bad.
