After she shut her eyes & wouldn't respond to my questions I knew something was wrong. "Val?" I brush some of her hair out of her face. I gulp, hoping she's alright, I need to get her to the nurses office. I take her into my arms some more, holding her bridal style.

* The bell rings *

Shit. I need to hurry before the hallway gets too crowded, I get off my knees & unlock the door. I start to walk fast, hoping to get their in time. Please be okay Valentina, be okay for me. I'm half way to the nurse when my path is covered by Valentina's ex. The guy that wouldn't leave her alone, my jaw suddenly tightens when he turns around to face me. His mouth opens, "Valentina?" He looks at me with a hardened expression.

"What did you do?" I grit my teeth, angry that he's going to conclusions. "I didn't do anything to her. What I'm trying to do is help her get to the nurse." He rolls his eyes "she doesn't need your help you bloody bofoon." He says mocking my accent, if Val wasn't in my arms right now I would hall arse on him. But I keep my cool & shove myself past him.

I finally get to the nurses office & she says she'll take care of her. "Can I stay with her for a little while ma'am?" She looks at me with sad eyes, "I'm sorry but you can't dear. I need to take care of her from here." She gives me a lazy smile & I understand nodding my head as I take a glance at Valentina once more.

Two weeks have past, she hasn't been to school, not even in her own home. Her mom told me she was staying with her uncle & aunt in California. She said it would be good for her, I kind of thought it was too. Until I realized how depressed I got for not seeing her anymore. Or even her giggle & beautiful smile, how it brightened up the whole room. Yeah I had other mates but even though I knew her for only 2 weeks their was something different about her.

I knew I would never forget about her, no matter how hard I try. Before I knew it summer came & I couldn't stop thinking about her, how I didn't get to say goodbye. The last time I saw her was when I took her to the nurses office. Turns out when she fainted she had went into an a coma then when she got back home she got a little better, but for about a week. Her mom wanted her to have a good life as long as she can, & since she always wanted to go to California she figured she would let her move there.

I went to a party & their was this girl that reminded me of her. We ended up just talking and I didn't try anything because then I would be practically using her. She ended up being Valentina's cousin that also lived in California, she was just visiting because she had some friends down here. She said Valentina's birthday was in a few days & she was going to fly back to California the day after tomorrow. I found out her name was Serena, maybe it was fate?

She asked if I wanted to come, I smirked & gladly accepted. I missed her, a lot. It'll do good to get to see her for a few days. Maybe I'll even tell her how I feel, why I never told her. I still regret letting Felicity kiss me that day, that was definitely a mistake. I regret lying to her & telling that the almost kiss was a mistake. When I obviously wanted to feel her lips on mine.

We get to the airport & we get our plane tickets out, now going on the plane. This was my second time even going on a plane so I gotta say I was kind of nervous. Also excited at the same time, for not seeing Valentina for a long time. Her cousin said that she'll be at the gate waiting for her with her parents. So I'll be staying at her house, where Valentina will also be. She already filled in her parents & they said it would be okay, they have another guest room I can use.

We land & get our suitcases about to come out of our gate. Serena's in front of me while I'm right behind her, she starts to run & I get the feeling she sees her parents with Valentina. I was right, she throws her self between two adults as they put their arms around her. Theirs a girl on the other side of her joining the group hug, it's Val.

She looks different, her hairs straight, it's been bleached but some brown is still in it. It looks pretty good though, she also is dressed in ahigh-low zebra shirt. With high-waisted black shorts, beautiful as ever. She has a white flower crown on her head, complimenting her gorgeous face. My heart beats faster, taking in slow breaths.

She breaks away from the hug, "hello their mate, longtime no see?" She's frozen from where she stands then slowly turns around, her green orbs looking into my hazel ones. "A-Alec?" She shakes a little then runs to me & throws herself. I catch her in time, putting her legs around my waist then her arms around my neck.

Stares at me for awhile shaking her head while she's smiling. "This seems to good to be true." She smiles at me widely, as I chuckle at her happiness. "Well believe it babe," then the unexpected happens.

"Val?" Then she looks away from my gaze & jumps away from me, leaving me confused. She comes back with another person, "Drake.. This is Alec. Alec, this is Drake." He looks at her with his eyebrows scrunched together. Then opens his mouth to say something, while turning his head to me. "I'm her boyfriend, mate." He finishes off with a possessive smirk, he encloses his hand in hers.

She looks up at me then does a small lop-sided smirk, then bites her bottom lip looking away. All I could think is how much I wanted to nibble & kiss those plump pink lips of hers. How I wanted her to just be mine, but she will. Besides how much does this guy want or need her as much as I do?

He puts out a hand to shake it & I look at it then him. I take a glance towards Valentina & she smiles as I take his hand & shake it. The war for Valentina's heart is on, but the thing is I only have a week to tell her how I feel. How I still have feelings for her, & how much I truly missed her.

**Okay so I have a confession to make, What it's worth will come to an end shortly. Maybe 2-3 chapters then it'll be over. But it's only because I'm writing for another book I'm working on.
