Prologue - Wuxian

Wuxian pov.

My gorgeous sleep was disturbed by an alarm ring from the table beside my bed... I scratched my eyes with laziness and tried to ignore the alarm by putting a pillow on my ear. The bed felt comfortable like they didn't want me to get up and do my job.

It must be six in the morning because last night I set my alarm 2 hours before my flight to Thailand... I am staying in the USA  currently, and I want to visit my hometown to meet my family and my company's branch there.

And what I guessed was right, my PA, also my best friend, called me

"Wuxian, wake your ass up. We have a flight at 8:30. Your baggage was already packed up, all you have to do is push your laziness aside" Jiang Cheng said to me on the phone with his usual bossy tone. Yep, no saying hello, good morning, or anything like this.

"Yes, sir." I rolled my eyes...

"I am serious. If I come to your house at seven and I don't see you ready, I will throw you into the ocean" he utters...

"You are cruel to your boss and best friend," I said with a joking whine.

"I am not cruel, you are just an asshole. Alright then, see you"

"See you, Asshole"

After I hang up the phone, I removed the blanket from my naked upper body and made my way to the bathroom to make myself ready for that day...

When I felt clean and fresh, I walked to my walk-in closet to choose a suit to wear. I decided to wear a black suit, a
White shirt, and a black tie after 10 full minutes of confusion, just like my everyday looks.

I saw myself through the mirror as I fixed my tie so it would look as neat as it could and smiled widely when I saw myself looking perfect.

I forget to introduce myself, my bad.

I am Wei Wuxian, 28 years old. An alpha from a pure alpha bloodline. I currently work as the CEO of Wei Company. The company has hands in many types of things. Aeroplanes, clothing lines, real estate and everything you can think of, as long as it's legal

I worked in this since I was only 23 years old because my father who was the previous CEO decided to retire. He wanted to enjoy his old days chilling with his wife, who is my mom. An Actual whipped husband. And the company just grew bigger & stronger after I had the position.

And yes I am a part of the Wei family that everyone called family goal. We are rich, have a position in this world, and the most important thing is; we are all pure alpha, except the 'wives'. The men in the family have to marry an omega, but I don't know why. My dad said so.

But I don't think omegas were that interesting, except my mom, of course (She'd be mad if she heard this). I met a lot of omegas in my life and all they do was throw themselves at me so I can really 'taste' them. And no offense, it disgusted me and always made me want to throw up.

But actually, I just wasn't interest in being in a relationship. Every time I'd accompany my sister to watch her favourite series, where two boys were being lovey-dovey, I couldn't think of myself that in the future. It's just not my style.

An Alpha had someone that they called a fated mate. Usually, an Alpha will meet their fated mate when they are 18-24 years old.

So, I am 28 years old pure Alpha and I am lonely as fuck.
