Iris's POV
My head feels really heavy and there's a damp towel on ny forehead. Then it hit me, Kaden was at my house yesterday! He was here, he put the towel on my forehead. I feel so ashamed. He was supposed to be enemy. Suddenly, I shiver, feels like a pair of eyes is watching me closely, it's like in the horror movie, where when you turn there's just something you dont want to see, its the same situation here, but its not something its more like someone.
"ho god!!" it was really scary to find someone you dislike most, sitting at your couch watching you
"what are you doing here ?! why are you looking at me like that?!" he laughed. he just freaking laugh!
"It's not funny Kaden!" it was him sitting on my couch looking at me and laughing like crazy
"you..your face!" He was trying to hold his laughter but couldn't
"It was priceless!! I should take a picture!" When he says picture my mind go back to the day I was humiliated. I just stare emotionless thinking about it. He seems to realize it
"oh god. Iris, I'm sorry. Its not like that, it won't happen okay" He was looking at me with worried eyes. It made me believe him
"Look, I'll make it up to you. How bout breakfast?" breakfast? its still early? I look at the clock and it says eight thirty in the morning.
"Wait. why are you here? How did you get in? Did you just sit on my couch the whole time a was sleeping?"
"Wow, slow down princess. One at a time okay" he smirked
"just answer it already!"
"okay, relax. I was here because Miss Fea ask me to check up on you, told you that yesterday remember? and your door is unlocked" I tried to remember again, he was right, he told me but I was too weak that time to argue anything
"And to your second question, I didn't brake in or anything. I just simply didn't left?" Didn't left? omg! he was here the whole time in my house! me and him! alone!
"you didn't left?!"
"Wait, hold on. Let me finish answer all your question first" he still have the time to joke around where I find this serious
"And lastly, no, I was not at your couch the whole time you were sleeping" that was a relief
"However, I was here for a while before you woke up" he was here?
"what games are you trying to play here Smith. what does that suppose to mean" I don't like it when he won't tell straight to the point
"It is what it looks like Stern, do you realize that the name stern itself is hardness of nature and manner?"
" I didn't know there is at least some knowlegde inside your head" I said sarcasticly
"and please don't change the subject. I don't have the urge to argue with you" I continued
" you still don't get it? god, you're slow" I gave him a don't-start-with-me look
"It means that I slept in your house last night and went to check up on you this morning and accidently falls asleep on your couch when I see you were still sleeping but then you woke up and it made me woke up as well but you didn't see me and when you did, your face was just hillarious!" he laugh again remembering everything he saw, I just realize that he has a carefree laugh. It look so natural and almost perfect.
"Are you done laughing?" I said sarcasticly
"okay okay! sorry. I'm done. So, how are you? Feeling any better?" His face turn serious again
