**Smut warning! Reader beware!
Compared to the heat of the club, the air outside felt like ice. In my tank top and cargo pants, I felt frozen in an instant. Sky helpfully threw my ugly brown cloak over my head. He put his arm around me and led me back to the building we had purchased the room, leading me up a flight of stairs. We were both a little intoxicated and unsteady on our feet as we climbed the stairs, bumping into the walls and giggling at ourselves. We keyed our way in, to find that there was 2 beds, and thankfully no one was in either of them. The room was nice, and actually had a small bathroom with a real shower inside. Compared to anything I had seen since arriving here, it was like the Ritz.
"A shower, are you kidding me? I am taking a shower!" I could hear Sky laugh as I closed myself in the bathroom. It was dirty, but my bar was so low that I almost wept at how perfect it was. I took a quick shower, since there was no soap, but the water was hot. I let it run all over me before switching it off. I brushed my teeth with a tiny dollop of toothpaste from the tube that Sky had packed for us.
"Your turn," I sang to Sky, who was lying on the bed waiting for me to finish when I stepped out of the steamy bathroom.
"Yes dear." He said playfully, standing up and walking past me to the bathroom. There was only one towel, so I informed him I would bring it to him after I changed. I didn't feel like putting my soiled clothes on yet, so I decided to rummage through drawers to see if there was anything I could wear. Amazingly, I found a folded overlarge t-shirt that, although it smelled faintly musty, looked pretty clean. Giddy at my luck, I pulled it over my head and stepped into the bathroom to hang the towel for Sky. The shower had a glass door, and I could see the silhouette of his body through it. Unexpectedly, he cracked the door as I was leaving the room. He looked me up and down, and said, "where'd you get that shirt?"
Don't look down, don't look down. "Uh, found it," Don't look... and there it is.
His... thing, which I had yet to catch a glimpse of to date.
It was. Nice.
"You just check me out, Paila?" Sky asked with a smirk.
"Y-you opened the door!" I said, as if that excused my wandering eyes. But how could I help it! And he's seen me! "A-and you've seen me!" I added, heat rising to my cheeks. Before I could embarrass myself even more, I ran out of the bathroom.
I crawled into the bed on the far end of the room, in case someone did come in, I didn't want them to have to walk past us to get to their bed. I stared up at the ceiling, feeling the blush slowly fade as I listened to the shower turn off. A few moments later, Sky emerged, dripping, with the towel tied around his waist. He still had the stupid smirk on his face as he crossed the room and plopped down on the bed beside me.
"So you have a good time tonight?" He asked, looking over at me. I could still smell the alcohol heavy on his breath even after he brushed his teeth, and I wondered exactly how much he had to drink.
I was suddenly hyper aware of the fact that I had not been able to shave my legs or – other parts – in close to a week. I sat up and pulled the enormous shirt over my knees, tucking my legs under. "Mhmm. How about you?"
He smiled, leaning closer to me, "I liked watching you dance. It was sexy." He said in that husky tone he seemed to reserve for when we were in bed together.
My blush crept back up, and I struggled to get a grip on my hormones. "I was lonely. You should have joined me."
"You didn't look lonely." He answered right away, batting his eyes at me.
I shook my head, "I would have preferred dancing with you over strangers."
"Needed to keep an eye on you," He murmured, "Alot of people were watching you. Need to keep you safe."
