"I'm going to kill you." I deadpanned.
"Why?" Sky chuckled, propping himself up on his elbow and looking down at me.
"The freaking tiny pieces of popcorn," I whined, "We're going to be finding them in bed for months."
He looked around the bed, a small pout on his lips as he considered the dilemma, and reached across me to swipe some onto the floor. I rolled my eyes, "Oh, much better."
I slid off the bed and started brushing broken popcorn crumbs into a pile with my foot. Sky watched me from his position lying on his back on the bed. With our broom I directed the pile out the front door. Outside, I could see the fire still smoldering, but everyone was inside, besides whoever was currently on watch patrolling the perimeter.
I walked back in the house to find Sky on the floor on his hands and knees, gathering crumbs. The bed was clean, so he must have knocked the rest of the popcorn out of the blanket and sheets. All I could see of him was his butt as he swiped every kernel with the side of his hand into a little pile. I bit back a giggle, but he turned at that moment. "Thanks," I said. He stood and turned to me with a flat smile, taking the broom from my hands and sweeping his pile out the door as I had done. I plopped back onto the bed, and heard a tiny crunch. Okay, maybe he hadn't gotten all of it. Before I could locate the piece, Sky had returned.
He smiled down at me, slowly settling on the bed, half on top of me again, without putting his full weight on me. "Did we miss some?" He murmured. "Don't move. You'll crush it." He dipped his head down into the crook of my neck, and picked it back up to show me a piece of popcorn between his teeth. He bit down and ate it, then lowered his face again. I felt the tip of his tongue lightly run down the side of my neck. I inhaled and started to wrap my arms around him, but he sat back and gathered both of my wrists in one of his hands, pinning them above my head with a cheeky grin. "I told you to stay still, do you want to make a bigger mess?"
Speechless and a little flustered, I chewed my bottom lip, while he moved down to my neck again, leaving wet kisses and short licks all over it. His tongue ran over a spot right under my ear that was very sensitive, and I let out a small, embarrassing moan. He pulled back and stared into my eyes, searching for any sign I wanted to stop. He wasn't smiling anymore. "Is this okay?" he asked.
I bit my lip and nodded, "yes." He continued to stare at me for a moment unsure if I meant it, so I reached up and touched his cheek, guiding his face down to mine until our lips met. His lips were soft when they met mine, tentative. My hand slid back into his soft brown hair, and my fingers tangled in it. Sky groaned lightly against my lips, and both our mouths opened, our tongues crashing between us. My leg lifted to wrap lightly around his, while his hand crept under my shirt.
Eagerly, I broke the kiss to sit up and pull my own shirt over my head, making Sky chuckle in surprise. I wanted to show him I wasn't as shy or reserved as he seemed to think I was, so once my own shirt was off, I started to tug his up his body by the hem. He laughed again, but helped me remove the garment. Giggling together, we helped the other shed their clothing until we were only in underwear. Sky pulled me in close so I was in between his legs. He laid his hands on my arms and kissed me again, more softly this time. His hands trailed down my arms and over my sides, until his fingers rested on the base of the bra. "Would it be okay if I take everything off?"
Up until this moment, we were no more exposed to each other than we had been basically each and every day. I mean, it's a tiny house. But usually, I only changed into and out of my undergarments in the bathroom. I think the last time he would have seen all of me was that horrible night with the leader. So, in that respect, it was silly to ask, because it was nothing he hadn't seen. But he still asked.
