Chapter 6

"Should I get this one?"

Mirae asked Seokhoon putting the hairpin close to her head. The two were shopping for a good hair accessory for Mirae to wear for the SNU test tomorrow.

"It's pretty"

Seokhoon said looking at Mirae with a smile on his face. He wasn't sure why Mirae needed a new hairpin for the test when she had a million at home, but when the girl called him to ask him to accompany her, he couldn't say no and the two were off together.

"You've been saying that to every one of them"

Mirae pouted wanting Seokhoon to choose a pretty hairpin for him.

"What do I do they all look so pretty on you"

Seokhoon said in the same tone Mirae was using.

"Well choose one, which one is your ultimate favorite?"

Mirae said looking at Seokhoon with wide eyes waiting for him to choose one. Shaking his head a little Seokhoon looked carefully at each one of the pins Mirae had chosen. After a few minutes he finally picked up the one he found the cutest.

"Here this one"

Seokhoon said putting the clip near Mirae's hair and looking how it looks on her.

"Ok!"

Mirae happily said taking the pin from him and heading towards the counter to pay.

"Wait should I get one for Seokyung as well?"

Mirae asked turning to Seokhoon who simply nodded implying that that was a good idea. When the two were out in public Seokhoon rarely spoke and usually just nodded or shook his head, with a constant adoring smile on his face, while Mirae talked.

"How's your preparation for tomorrow?"

Mirae asked her boyfriend as they walked towards Seokhoon's motorbike.

"It's good, what about you?"

"I'm confident but nervous, does that make sense?"

Mirae said looking confused herself. Seokhoon nodded knowing exactly what Mirae meant. Mirae continued talking about how fun it would be if the two went to the same university while Seokhoon listened. Little did they know how fast things would change tomorrow.

"Eomma, what if I fail? What will happen then?"

Mirae whined to her mother a few hours before the test.

"You've practiced well don't worry you won't fail"

Eun Sook tried to calm her daughter down who had been a nervous wreck since last night. After calming down a little the mother daughter duo left to meet the twins and their mother so the five could go together. Seokyung had still not talked to Mirae since that day and it was worrying Mirae now, wondering if Seokyung was all right.

Mirae smiled as she read Rona's text while she was on her way to the venue where the test would take place. Upon reaching the venue, Mirae's nervousness all came running back and she felt her heartbeat quicken. Seeing so many people made her almost certain that she won't make it.

"Don't worry, you'll be fine"

Mirae heard Seokhoon say from behind her with a smile on his face. Mirae nodded trying to convince herself that Seokhoon was right she'd do amazing.

"Rona! How do you feel?"

Mirae rushed towards her friend who smiled upon seeing the girl.

"I'm confident. I do hope I pass"
