Chapter 11

"Why didn't you go to your mother after you found out that she was out of prison?"

Mirae asked the somber girl sitting in front of her. Eunbyeol didn't reply instead simply took a bite out of the food Mirae had brought her.

"Ha Eunbyeol, Are you okay?"

Mirae asked looking at Eunbyeol with a concerned look on her face. She knew Eunbyeol probably hated her because she was now dating Seokhoon but she still hoped Eunbyeol would talk to her so that she could help the girl in any way she could. She wasn't close to Eunbyeol but she still remembered that the first time she came here, Ha Eunbyeol was the first to welcome her.

"Are you new here?"

Mirae turned around hearing someone's voice behind her. Upon seeing a girl of her age, Mirae nodded replying to her question.

"I'm Ha Eunbyeol, I also moved here"

The girl smiled at Mirae extending her hand out. Hesitantly Mirae shook hands with the girl.

"What's you name?"

Eunbyeol asked Mirae looking at her curiously.

"Kim Mirae"

Mirae softly replied. Mirae never had any friends other than the Joo twins so she wasn't really good at communicating with new people; Seokyung was the one who used to do the talking.

"You might not know this but we go to the same school, I see you with the Joo twins all the time"

Eunbyeol continued to say as Mirae looked at her wondering why she was being so friendly to her.

"Come over to my house sometimes, we're also neighbors now"

Eunbyeol said and left Mirae standing confused about what just happened.

Thus Mirae and Eunbyeol started to get close but before they could fully become friends, problems started arising causing the two to drift apart.

"If she finds me she'll kill me"

Eunbyeol said looking at Mirae clearly scared.

"She won't find you here don't worry. Plus you should call your mother first and let her know how you are."

Mirae said to Eunbyeol who hurriedly nodded taking out her phone. Mirae looked at Eunbyeol waiting for her to say something once her mother picked up the call but instead the girl ended up putting the phone down and bursting into tears.

"Ha Eunbyeol, what happened? Is everything fine? Why are you crying now?"

Mirae asked her questions frustrated that she wasn't getting an answer. After realizing she wasn't going to get and answer, Mirae just sat next to Eunbyeol calming her down.

Your mother and Rona's mother are at my place. I'm coming now.

Mirae quickly ran out of her room after receiving the text from Seokhoon. The two had planned to cook breakfast for Eunbyeol as well in the morning once her mother left. Quickly she messaged Rona to come as soon as she could as well. Not having much experience in cooking Mirae knew she would need help, actual help from Rona and moral support from Seokhoon. Mirae was also glad Maid Choi wasn't at their house these days as this plan would have failed if she was.

"Good Morning"

Seokhoon pulled Mirae in a hug as soon as he entered the apartment.

"Good Morning. How are you?"

Mirae also said to him in between the hug with the biggest smile on her face.

"I'm fine just hungry"

Seokhoon said breaking the hug and looking at Mirae.

"You didn't have breakfast?"

Mirae asked shocked.

"My girlfriend is cooking breakfast why would I have something else?"

Seokhoon said pecking Mirae's lips and walking towards the kitchen. Even though this wasn't the first time he had kissed her on the lips Mirae still got flustered every time he did it. Mirae was about to say something when the doorbell rang again. Hurriedly Mirae opened the door for one of her best friend.

"I will clearly say this, I am not looking forward to whatever we're doing to this"

Rona said to the two as they stood in the kitchen about to start making breakfast.

"Why? I think this will be fun."

Mirae asked Rona.

"For you it would be. But for me it's basically third wheeling the entire time and then serving breakfast to someone who tried to almost kill me. So yeah great times"

Rona said playfully glaring at the two.

"Fine I'll make sure you don't third wheel today"

Mirae said smiling at Rona.

"Hmm how will you do that? Your boyfriend can't even spend a second without being near you, look even now he's holding your hand"

Rona playfully rolled her eyes at the two.

"Oh you were holding my hand"

Mirae said as if she just found out he was holding onto her.

"Well I can't just leave you standing alone now can I?"

Seokhoon said smiling at his girlfriend. Mirae closed her eyes finding him cute and cringe.

"Well there you go. How about you go sit down and watch some TV while I make breakfast?"

Rona said acting as if they annoyed her.

"No we're going to do this together. Seokhoon no acting lovey dovey now"

Mirae said turning to Seokhoon who nodded quickly making Mirae fan girl over how cute he was all over again.

"You can't control yourself, you literally go crazy over everything he does, hmm I wonder how it is to be in love"

"He's so cute what do I do?"

And that's how the trio started making breakfast and having fun while doing it. Once the breakfast was fully done, Mirae called Eunbyeol out for breakfast as all of them sat down to eat.

"Its nothing special but have some with us"

Mirae said to the girl once she came in.

"Why are you doing this for me? Bae Rona, why do you always pretend to be nice to me? Why do you always make me the bad one? I hate this; I'd rather you curse and hate me that's more comfortable. What should I do now?"

Ha Eunbyeol asked Rona before falling on the floor crying.

"I still hate you. And I will definitely get an apology from you. But for now I just want to help you. Ha Eunbyeol, I know you're not happy right now but stop whining and come eat. Please get a life"

Rona said going to stand in front of her.

"Let's eat. I'm hungry"

Seokhoon said sitting down next to Mirae.

"Ha Eunbyeol, Come on let's eat"

Mirae softly said to the girl before looking at Rona and silently telling her to sit down and eat as well. It was an awkward meal but the four made through it finally.

"I'll be going now"

Bae Rona said to the couple smiling and gettingup to leave. Mirae smiled and waved back before Rona left leaving the threealon
