Danielle's POV :

Before falling asleep, I messaged Charlotte making sure she was ready for tomorrow, the first day on location.

I thought she would answer the next day as it was already late but she immediately messaged back, saying she was trying to manage.

Manage what ? I asked myself.

'Is your mom driving you there and staying with you like it was planned ?' I messaged.

'I think so.'

'You think so ?'

'I don't know.'

'Can I call you ?'

I knew it was late but I could sense something was wrong.

She answered with a thumb-up emoji.

"Hi sweetheart."

"H- hi."

Her voice was low and cracking, even with this simple word.

"Everything okay ?"

"Yeah."

"So, for tomorrow ?"

"I actually didn't ask my... my mom."

I frowned.

"But I will find a solution."

"Charlotte..."

"We are leaving tomorrow, you need to know how you will go and with who you will stay."

"I will Danielle." She whimpered.

We both went silent for a little while, knowing she had no idea how to go to the location.

So I took the decision.

She was the child, I was the adult.

"I will drive you there."

"And I will be your chaperone."

"No Danielle it's okay."

"That was not a question."

"I'm driving you there and you will stay with me."

"I'm going to email Krista tonight."

"Charlotte ?"

"Thank you Danielle." She whispered.

"Okay, now try to get some sleep, we are picking you up at 3 pm."

"We ?" She questioned.

"I'm driving with Stefania." I smiled at the thought.

"Okay, thank you so much." She said her voice shaking a little.

"Sleep tight sweetheart."

I hung up and slowly fell asleep, feeling relieved that I would be the one to take care of Charlotte for the next week.

Stefania's POV :

"Hi bellina."

I greeted Danielle as she entered the lounge with crazy hair bed.

"I made breakfast."

I set a tray of food on the coffee table and we both started eating.

"We are driving with Charlotte this afternoon." She suddenly announced.

I frowned.

"Is it okay with you ?"

"Yes ! Yes of course but why ? Did something happen?"
