Double Update!!!

—————

"When's our anniversary?"

Josie's surprised by the question, a soft smile appearing on her lips as her cheeks tint pink. She tries to distract herself by poking at her remaining food, "6 weeks. That's our official anniversary. Though we were definitely a thing before then."

"A thing?" Hope has an almost teasing tone, "How so?"

Josie can't hide her blush now, "Well, for one, you would very obviously flirt with me—"

"For some reason, I think you may have contributed more than you're letting on," She grins, while Josie let's out a soft chuckle.

"Okay, that might be a little bit true. We also shared study dates and actual dates and kisses on lab tables and by the falls..."

Hope can't help but mirror Josie's growing smile, "Sounds romantic."

Josie nods, "It was." Her smile slowly fades, wondering if they'll ever get back to that. She wonders what will happen if Hope never remembers. Will they still get married?

The thought of not being with Hope for the rest of her life just doesn't make sense to Josie. It's terrifying, even. I guess I'll just have to make sure my fiancé falls in love with me all over again.

Hope senses the change in demeanor from the woman, and she's assuming it's because that past is forgotten on her part.

She wishes she remembered it all, too.

She lets out a soft sigh before standing from her seat at the table, picking up her plate and then Josie's.

Josie furrows her eyebrows while Hope is already heading back towards the kitchen, so she follows her fiancé in there. "What are you doing?"

Hope thinks it's pretty obvious, but she still answers while glancing over her shoulder, "The dishes?"

Josie shoots her an incredulous look, "Hope, no. You don't have to—"

Hope catches Josie's hands as she's about to take over the cleaning, "Hey, I've got it covered in here. I'll get this cleaned up while you get ready for bed."

Josie gives her a skeptical look, "Hope, you couldn't find a pan before. How do you expect to put all of this away?"

Hope deadpans at her, "I'll figure it out." Josie opens her mouth to argue, but Hope beats her to it, "Have I ever told you that you're stubborn?"

Josie rolls her eyes playfully, a lie slipping through her lips, "No."

"I doubt that," Hope gives her a knowing look, the signature smirk that Josie has missed. It immediately gets her flustered, as it usually does.

The brunette blushes as an effected chuckle leaves her lips. She clears her throat before giving in, throwing her hands up.

"Okay fine, I'm going. I'll just be in the shower if you need me."

"Okay, Mommy," Hope says as she's already starting the dishes, but the sound of Josie's palm coming in contact with the doorway as she catches herself from literally falling over calls her attention in that direction.

She looks over to an even more flustered brunette, her cheeks red, mouth agape, eyes widen with slightly larger pupils and darker irises. Frozen in place as she clearly takes that a different way than intended.

Hope explains where that came from, "You know, because of the baby..."

"Right!" Josie nervously laughs, trying to shake the arousal she feels aside, "Right, of course..."
