"Where are we?" Vine asks, marveling at the massive room.
"Right, for the newcomers, welcome to the library. Here is where I keep an archive of the RWBYverse." Sid said.
"RWBYverse?" The aforementioned team look at the god with interest.
"Okay so, not all multiverses are the same. There are many that seem to focus on one person or a group of people who have a, well... let's call it backstory, for the lack of a better term. They tend to resonate with others like them and its easier to group them. They tend to get verses named after them." Mars pulls out a series of different images. "The Spiderverse, the Sanchezverse, the Fordverse, the Narutoverse, the Nasuverse, the MHAverse, the Xenoverse and so on. RWBY is just another one that's unique... people ripped from their universes and forced into a different one, inserted into the world. Thus... the RWBYverse!" A hologram with multiple universes is shown with the Observatory sitting in the center. "The Observatory is sitting in the nexus, a neutral zone where all events are occurring at the same time, the perfect place for us Watchers to obverse and record. And as you've already noticed," he zooms on a variety of structures. "We are not alone here."
"So they're all watchers, too?" Ruby asks.
"Yep. These guys have been around longer than me. By about... a 1,000 or so of your years." Sid said. "Remember, Rytsar? He is what you'd call an Elder Watcher. Elder Watchers are beings of omnipotent power and are allowed to leave their domains at any point in time unlike us weak Watchers who are permanently bound to their domains."
"Hm, so even gods have a hierarchy." Salem hums at this information.
"Now where was I? Oh right, the multiverse." Sid mutters. "The RWBYverse, as the name suggests, focuses on the main members of Team RWBY although it mainly focuses more on Ruby than everyone else." A book floats down from a bookshelf and it opens, releasing images of different Rubies. "These are just one of the infinite variations of Ruby Rose. All of them are different in some shape or form whether its their past, their power, or where they live."
Ruby's silver eyes shine as she sees all of the different versions of herself. She sees one in crimson red armor, one that can summon swords, one that pilots different giant robots, and so on."
Yang flinches as she sees one of the versions of her sister shoot her in the chest with a blaster, one that transforms into a giant black monstrosity no different from a Grimm, and one that is completely apathetic to everything.
