Without the boy in green and the librarian, the library would have been empty. No seriously, I'm glad it wasn't empty. Jay just informed me that I would be working with Sunghoon on the lyrics for the competition. The longer I stand here, the more I regret my decision.

It was undoubtedly a hot summer day. Yet he chose to wear a brown long-sleeve shirt and long black trousers with a belt cinched around his waist.

I chose a table in direct sunlight and the guy chose to sit down a few tables away from me. The two of us haven't exchanged a single word since we met after class. The atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable if I'm being honest.

Normally I would just write down whatever came to my mind, but writing something from scratch without an inspiration wasn't easy. I swung the pencil around my finger and stared at my still white paper, doubting that I'd be able to fill that paper with ink and thoughts anytime soon.

I tried to sneak a peek at the boy, only to find his seat empty. In addition, there was no trace of his bag anywhere.

In search of him I decided to walk around and look for inspiration, after all I'm in a library. The shelves are high and there are countless books. I felt like a kid going through all the books I wanted.
______________

"Excuse me, little boy." A kind and warm voice echoed throughout the place. "Red hair boy."

I turned around, startled, and instead of saying anything, I simply pointed my index finger at myself.

"How long do you intend to stay here?" It was the librarian. I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket to see that it was eight past nine already and panicked a little. I must have lost track of time flipping through all the books.

"Don't worry, take an umbrella and come home safely." As I turned my gaze to the huge windows, I finally noticed how dark it had become and how large raindrops were sliding down the windows. The boy in green must have left some time ago too. Now it's just the librarian and me.

I grabbed a book before briefly saying thank you and goodbye.

Park seriously left me alone for hours without saying goodbye. But seriously, why is it still new to me, it's not the first time something like this has happened.

The street was full of big puddles and it would have taken me at least thirty minutes to waddle home, so I got on the next available bus and put on my headphones. My eyelids grew heavier, the last thing I remember was my fingers gently tapping my thighs to the beat of august by Taylor Swift.
