After what felt like an eternity, Sunghoon finally arrived at the parking lot of the practice room. A few days have passed since he suddenly left Sunoo alone in the library, besides the two haven't seen each other since, so the guys decided to meet up today to continue their work.

Although Sunoo and Sunghoon only met at the library for a short time, it wasn't hard to tell that the atmosphere was far more tense than he remembered a few years ago. But he felt better knowing that this time they wouldn't be working together alone.

He threw his cigarette on the floor and stomped on it a bit before entering the room. He hadn't expected to see all six boys sitting in a circle, pausing their little ones' conversation and turning their heads toward him. Before an awkward silence settled, Jake got up from his chair and slowly walked over, all eyes still on Sunghoon but all he felt was a certain couple with a particularly cold stare. "Gosh, you're finally here, I thought you weren't even coming."

"Traffic." The taller one said simply before walking towards the empty chair between Heeseung and Jay.

The practice room is divided into a dance and music room and since they met it has become routine for them to meet up there after practice to practice even more. By them, Sunghoon meant the basketball pals, not the other two boys who suddenly seem very close to his members.

Sunghoon knew the members weren't as cold as he was, still, it surprised him to see them talking as if they'd known each other longer than he had. After all, Sunghoon was the only one in this room who knew each and every boy best, wasn't he?

"Like I said, today we're going to split into two work groups." The eldest in the room, sitting next to Sunghoon, spoke up. "Sunghoon Niki, Jay and Sunoo will be working in the music room, which means Jungwon, Jake and I will have to work here. Is that okay for everyone?"

With a few nods and brief agreements, they got to work.

"Shall we, Sunoo?", Sunoo was dozing off when all the boys were already starting to move and he was the only one still sitting in his chair. He looked up to see his teammates looking at him, apart from Sunghoon who was already seated in the music room.

Before leaving with the other two, the redhead tapped Jungwon gently to give him a short, "Fighting, Won. You got this!!" excitingly.

The room wasn't very big but definitely adequate for four people, full of instruments and a dim light illuminated the room, as it had no windows.

"Sunoo and Sunghoon," Jay began as he picked up a guitar from the wall, Sunoo winced a little at the mention of his name.

"How far did you two get last time?"

"What?"

"The lyrics"

"Right, the lyrics...", Sunoo glanced at Sunghoon - the boy was already staring at him - and in his eyes Sunoo begged for help. "We.."

"We decided to work individually to get more inspiration for the song." Sunghoon stepped in to help the younger, or rather himself.

An appropriate ending
Not a hateful last time
Of all the breakups
I think this would be a good example, right?
...
    just                    it
I d̶o̶n̶'̶t̶ wanna let y̶o̶u̶ go.
Why don't you just let me go, me go.

Last conversation with you
An endless night
Follow your traces
All night
Loneliness grows like a snowball
Gradually increasing
How much must it hurt
Til I can pay it all back

"Did you two really work separately? The lyrics fit perfectly with a breakup song," Jay asked Sunghoon silently, in a sarcastic tone, as they were sharing a desk while Hoon kept his eyes on the younger two. They originally planned to finish the lyrics together, but Sunghoon insisted it was better to work as a duo so he could concentrate better. So here they are, one doubting they wrote the lyrics separately while the other couldn't concentrate at all.

On the other hand, Sunoo and Niki had incredible teamwork, throwing jokes and giggling the whole time. At that point, Jay and Sunghoon could've just left and no one would have noticed. Not until Sunghoon's name would cross Sunoo's mind.

"What do you mean. It's all coincidence." Sunghoon finally answered the question posed to him, facing Jay now.

"Sure, if you say so."

There was a knock on the door, not long after it flew open and revealed a Heeseung with some music sheets in his left hand while his right hand was still on the doorknob. "How's it going?"

"Well, I don't know about those two uncles, but Sunoo and I are basically done with the whole song," Heeseung got in response from Niki with a cheeky, teasing smile on his little face.

"Damn, you're really good Sunoo."
"HEY, what about ME??"

"No way Sunghoon and Jay are slower this time!" Jake popped up from behind and gasped dramatically, ignoring Niki's complaints.

"We'd been done already if this guy hadn't dozed off all the time. 'I could concentrate better in the duo', my ass."

"Bullshit! You're the one who probed me with questions!," Sunghoon said back pointing at Jay almost pouting.

"Whatever. I would rather work with Sunoo. At least this guy knows how to socialize."

"WHAT ABOUT ME!?"

"woah, look at that guy. Who has been there for you for all-"

"Gosh, you all are noisy. Let's call it a day for now, we'll work on the music and dance next time."

Clearly, the bickering didn't even end as they walked down the parking lot. Heeseung, Jake and Niki have already left the place by car, leaving the four boys behind.

He's changed so much and yet stayed the same, Sunoo thought as he walked behind Jungwon and linked their arms.

As Jay stood in front of the bikes, he suddenly stopped their argument and turned around. "Don't you two need a ride home? It's already dark and the bus station is at least twenty minutes away."

"Oh, No we're fi-"

"Yes. I mean, if that's okay?", Jungwon said almost screaming while squeezing Sunoo's arm.

"I can take Sunoo home with me, since I already visited once."

"No. Eh... Why don't you take me home, Jay? I have a few questions about the basketball lesson."

"Oh.. sure. Sunghoon, you're taking Sunoo home, yeah?"

"Who told you I was going to drive someone home?", Sunghoon said, raising an eyebrow while wearing his heavy helmet.

"You know, I can really just walk to the bus-"

"Sunghoon, don't be an asshole, c'mon, the ride is, what, about fifteen minutes?"

It was evident that Sunghoon didn't want to take anyone home that night, and the eye roll only made it clearer. He glanced at the younger man, whose head now rested on Jungwon's shoulder, before removing his helmet and handing it over. "Hop on."

"If you need his address, I'll send it to you.", Jay said before starting his engine.

"No...no, I'll be fine."
