Logan's POV
"Hey, ex-wifey," I heard Duncan greet me as I sat at the bar in first class, engrossed in my journal. "Are you sure about going through with the divorce?"
Maintaining my silence, I continued scribbling away.
Since the Niagara Falls challenge, I had been going to great lengths to avoid Duncan. I sought refuge in the bathrooms, confessionals, and even the cockpit until Chef had finally reached his limit and kicked me out. I hated to admit it, but I felt fearful and ashamed to face Duncan after he called me out. My behavior towards him in the past few weeks had been far from ideal, but I wasn't ready to easily let him back into my life. I couldn't be certain whether he was lying about the Gwen situation or not. Given his extensive history, it was only natural for me to harbor doubts. However, a small part of me couldn't help but wonder if he was being genuine. His actions at Niagara Falls had given me a glimmer of hope that perhaps he truly meant what he said.
I glanced up from my journal as Duncan approached the bar, casually plunging his finger into the cake we had won at Niagara Falls.
"At least something good came out of our marriage," I overheard Duncan mutter to himself. Rolling my eyes at his comment, I returned my focus to my journal.
"Come on, Lo. Can you start talking to me? You can't ignore me forever, and deep down, you know that," Duncan pleaded, taking a seat next to me.

"Don't get me wrong. I actually enjoy the silent treatment... sometimes. But now, it's starting to wear thin. With Owen gone, I lost a reliable vote. So I thought maybe making amends with Logan wasn't such a bad idea. Besides, I miss her. Maybe if I can gradually regain her trust, she might actually listen to me for once, and we can rebuild the relationship we once had."//
"Logan, please tell me what's going on instead of burying yourself in that journal," Duncan said, his voice filled with sincerity as he settled into the seat beside me.
I abruptly closed my journal and turned to face him.
"Can you just give me some space!?" I snapped, pushing myself out of the chair.
"I care about you, Logan, and I want to make things right. I don't want to keep arguing! I miss—" Duncan's voice trailed off as the cake that had been sitting on the bar suddenly engulfed him, covering him completely.
I stuck my finger into the cake and scooped up some frosting.
"As long as you stay in there, we can't argue," I hummed, making my way towards the first-class seats.
Before Duncan could retaliate, the PA system crackled to life.
"Attention, passengers. Feeling isolated in the game? Searching for an ally you can trust? Consider joining forces with me. You won't regret it," Blaineley's voice boomed over the PA. "This offer is not legally binding. It may be withdrawn at any time."
"Ugh, that girl really gets on my nerves," I grumbled to myself, crossing my arms as I settled into my seat.

"Nǐ hǎo. Welcome to China, a vast country filled with rich history, captivating culture, groundbreaking innovation, and delectable sauces," Chris announced, his voice resonating as we gathered outside the plane, ready for the next challenge.
"Our first task takes inspiration from the annals of this country's remarkable past. In 8 million BC, during the Miocene Era, the legendary King Dim Sum led his fearless battalion of donkey warriors right here, on the iconic Great Wall," Chris proclaimed, gesturing towards the sprawling landmark that stood behind him, its ancient stones steeped in history.
