"Good job today, Fong!"

"Thanks coach!" Evan shouted back as he packed his hockey gear and changed into a white muscle shirt, red jacket, black pants and his signature shades. He got his stuff and as he was headed outside but before he left the ice rink, he saw a girl with very short black hair wearing a knee high light blue dress, standing by the bleachers. Evan could see that she seemed a bit lost so he went near her.

"Uhm hi there miss" Evan said making the girl look at her

"O-oh hi!" The girl stuttered

'Huh... her voice doesn't match her looks...'

"You don't sound too well, are you alright?" Evan asked as the girl looked embarrassed and tried to clear her throat

"I m-must be catching a cold" the girl said shyly as she tried to make her voice sound better

"Oh, well, here" Evan took off his jacket and placed it around her. The girl could see Evan's muscles clearly as he approached her and placed the jacket on her, making her blush even more

"Better?" Evan asked as the girl nodded

"Thanks..." the girl trailed off as Evan continued for her

"Evan. My name's Evan."

"Yeah.. I know" she mumbled low enough so that Evan couldn't hear it

"Huh?" Evan asked as the girl laughed nervously

"Oh I said Jooo...ana." Joana said with a smile as Evan nodded

"Nice to meet you Joana. So, you seem lost. Where are you headed?"

"I'm new here... I was supposed to visit my friend but he isn't home so I don't know where to go"

"Well, you can come with me first if you want"

"You'd trust a stranger like me?"

"I could ask you the same question"

"I don't have much of a choice, but you do..."

"Nah. I learned to not judge complete strangers thanks to my best friend" Evan said with a smile as he started walking to his house

"Your best friend?"

"Yeah. I met him online. I didn't know who he was and he messaged me saying we should play together, and we did. He just kinda became my best friend along the way"

"He seems nice" Joana said with a smile

"Pft.. nah, he's an asshole" Evan laughed as Joana looked at him with an 'are you serious' look

"But we work, you know?" Evan said with a grin

"You work?" Joana raised an eyebrow in confusion

"Yeah, we work. Like, we can play pranks on each other all the time and we don't get mad. I like playing co-op games with him too. It's pretty fun. And its a given whenever we're playing, that we have to watch out for each other unless we're playing pranks on each other and all that." Evan said as he looked towards Joana who was staring at the ground, smiling.
