Delirious dropped down on both knees as he held Evan's limp body in his arms. He wasn't moving, not even breathing; no pulse, no anything. Delirious wanted to scream, but nothing came out of his throat as he needed every bit of air that came into his lungs. He looked at the bottle that lay on their bed and took it. Just before he could drink any of the pills, the door burst open, and there Cartoonz stood

"Evan!" Cartoonz yelled but only saw Delirious cradling Evan

"Fuck! No! I tried to fucking stop him!" Cartoonz kept yelling as he gripped at his hair

"W-Why did h-he...?" Delirious managed to choke out as Cartoonz called someone on his phone

"Hello? Yes please we need a doctor. Please..." Cartoonz said, panic lining each of his words

"Jon, I'm sorry... he called me up saying that he wants to be buried beside you once they find your body. I tried to stop him, I tried to tell him that this wasn't real. I told him that this was all a plan, that you'd show up in your bedroom and propose to him. But... He wouldn't believe me... He wouldn't fucking believe me!" Cartoonz said as he broke down and punched the wall beside him

"Evan... I'm sorry..." Delirious whispered as he kissed Evan's forehead

"I wanted you to remember today..." Delirious then kissed Evan's left cheek

"But not this way..." Delirious kissed Evan's right cheek

"Never this way..." Delirious kissed Evan's lips as he took out the ring from his pocket and slipped it in Evan's ring finger

"I'll never stop loving you"

"You okay, Jon?" Delirious's sister asked as Jon finished wearing his suit and tie

"Yeah..." Delirious softly said

"It's the fifth day, the day before the burial. Are you sure?"

"I'm fine"

"If you need anything... just tell us, alright?" she lightly smiled as she pecked Delirious's cheeks and went out of the small room they were in

*knock knock*

"Come in" Delirious called out as he got his glass that had whiskey in it

"Hey man" Cartoonz said as he went over to the solemn Delirious

"Is everyone ready...?" Delirious asked as Cartoonz nodded

"The final blessing is about to happen. Everyone's there" Cartoonz said as Delirious brushed his fingers through his hair

"How did this all fucking happen, Luke?" Delirious mumbled as Cartoonz could only give him an apologetic look

"We should be planning our wedding by now." Delirious said as a bittersweet smile crawled onto his lips. Delirious reached his hand out and got the bouquet of lilies that lay on the table as he stared at it.
