*Delirious's POV*

It was raining that night, the plan was all set. I would be at the edge of the bridge, ready to jump off into the river. Luke would drive Evan there, ready to stop Evan from following me in jumping off or confirming that I was gone.

The plan was going well. I had jumped off, I could hear Evan call out to me, but I pretended like the rain drowned out his cries, his tears. Luke would hold him back and comfort him. He would hire rescuers to find me... but they never will. Evan would cry for days, but I wont let him. I could only stand a few hours of it.

That was the plan. Just a few hours of sorrow then I would go to my house. Evan would be in my room, on our bed. He would have the lights off as he cried and hugged the teddy bear he had given me on our first anniversary. Then, when the moment was right, I would go in. He would have his back towards the door so he wouldn't see that it was me. He would tell me to go away, but I would only get closer to him then hug him. He'll feel the familiar touch and immediately know it was me. He would hug me back and we would kiss. Once we part, I would go down on one knee, tears streaming down both of our cheeks and ask Evan the most important question I could ever ask...

But that's not what happened.

I jumped off the river and quickly got my balance. The rain made the current a bit stronger, but I had been practicing as I swam to the other side and gotten up. The rain camouflaged me as I went out of the river and into my car, where my sister had been waiting for me. I could see Evan cry as Luke stopped him from trying to go into the river. It hurt to see him like that so we had driven off. I could only wait for five hours, representing the five years that Evan and I spent together. After those five long hours, I was in front of our bedroom door, ready to ask Evan the most important question I could ever ask...

The door creaked open and I could see Evan's back towards the door. I lightly smile as I go inside the room. I thought he would have told me to go away by now. I stopped right beside the bed and felt myself trembling, he didn't object.

I slowly reach downwards and hugged him... and I knew.

I dropped down on both my knees, tears streaming down my cheeks as I asked Evan the most important question I could ever ask...

Why?

Why did you do it?

Why did you kill yourself?

I didn't think you would...

But you did.

A/N: Hey guys! This one is kinda shorter than my normal one-shot length. That's because I've seen other writers have one-shots this long and people loved it. So tell me what you think or if you prefer short one-shots than long one-shots!

IMPORTANT for Sydney lovers/fans: It has come to my attention that I may have offended some of Sydney's fans. When I say things about her, it's only from what I've observed about her. I'm honestly trying hard to like her (I really fucking am) so please don't say that my opinion doesn't matter or whatnot.. I'm not looking for a fight with anyone, and if you like her, feel free to say so. I'd love it if you include your own personal reason. Just don't take any of my opinions the wrong way. I'm really trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but a lot of the posts that I see on her twitter that relates to Evan has something to do with her either enjoying that he's not on the computer or her complaining about him recording... I'm sure she's nice but so is Lui. And yet I find Lui a bit narcissistic (but I still love Lui :3)

So when I say something about her that's based on observation, that doesn't mean that she's not lovable or nice or whatever, it just means that I'm stating one perspective...

So to anyone I've offended or hurt, I'm really sorry. I don't like getting into fights with people, especially because of misunderstandings.

Also sorry to @BunnehJuice who I may have offended in one of my previous one-shots. I didn't mean to, and I hate having any sort of conflict with friends/followers/fellow fans/commenters/people in general.

I know I don't have to like her, but I don't like misrepresenting the people in my stories. That's why I'm trying to like her and asking for other people's opinions on her. So please don't take that as something offensive... Thanks to everyone who understands, and I'll talk to ya'll later!
