I watched you from afar. In fact, I've been watching you for a long time now. I dream about how amazing it would be if we were together, if I could hold you and have you.

But that's not what happened.

I always find myself having competition. There's always someone else who wants you, craves for you. And I'm no different; I also crave for you. But there is one thing that they don't feel for you, and that's love.

Yes, I love you. I love you so much that I would wait for as long as it takes just so that you could be mine at last. Can't you imagine it? After being apart for so long, we'll finally be together?

But that's not what happened.

I remember readying myself, preparing each and every part of me for the long wait to get to you. I knew how much it would hurt to see if someone else had you in his palms, but I had to try. I had to at least try to make you mine.

And that's exactly what I did.

I went for it, for you. I knew the chances that I'd get you were low. I knew the risks, the possible heartbreak. But you were so special, so amazing, so different. It's as if you were the very thing that I lacked this whole time. And with you, I'd definitely be full once more.

But that's not what happened.

As I almost had you, there was a surprise attack. I didn't think it would happen. He wasn't supposed to have you. He didn't want you in the first place. You weren't in his priority list. It just so happened that you were available, and he took that chance and took you away from me.

My heart broke.

There was no turning back from this.

I knew that once he had you, he would never let you go. For who would? What idiot would let go of you? I know I won't. Because that's how much I love you. And yet, you're forever gone.

I want to fight for you, but I know there was no way I'd win. I want to push him away and take you and run off. Even if it's the last thing I do, you will be mine. Because you're special and amazing, because you fit perfectly with me, because no one can love you more than I can, because you make me full.

And as my heart raced, I knew what I had to do. It was now or never.

I had to have you.

No matter what.

So I will vanquish this blue hooded beast, so I may have you.

Here it goes.

"Is that all sir? Maybe you'd like a bagel with your order?" the cashier said as a guy in a blue hoodie thought about it

"Alright, wouldn't hurt to have it" the guy mumbled

"Here you go sir" the cashier said with a smile as she placed the bagel on a piece of tissue and handed it over to the guy. But before the guy could grab the bagel, he felt a force push him to the ground.

"Stop! That's mine!" Evan yelled as he fell on top of the blue hooded guy

"What?" the guy confusedly asked

"That bagel. It's mine" Evan lowly growled as the guy's eyes were filled with amusement

"Alright, you can fucking have it, my treat" the guy chuckled as Evan felt all of his anger and jealousy wash away as confusion and embarrassment overcame him

"W-What...?" Evan mumbled as he stood up and so did the guy

"You can have it" the guy said again, amusement lining his every word as he got the bagel from the shocked cashier and handed it to Evan

"Uh... thanks" Evan said with a sheepish smile

"My name's Evan" Evan said as he reached his hand out

"Jonathan or just Jon" Jon said as he shook Evan's hand

"Hey, Jon, maybe we could share instead" Evan grinned as he halved the bagel and gave the other half to Jon who gladly took it

"Thanks" Jon grinned as Evan felt his heartbeat race

I thought that once I held you in my hands, I would never let go of you. Because what idiot would let go of you? Apparently this blue hooded monster was that idiot, that idiot named Jonathan. And by just looking into his eyes, I could be an idiot with him.

And that's what happened.
