You Do Smell Good

A large warehouse hidden behind a cornfield. There was some pretty gruesome illegal activity going on. A man wearing a suit that covers his entire body like an astronaut is operating a machine. Hundreds of large plastic bags hang neatly in a row.

He shifted the lever of the machine to the right, and one package moved down. The man approached the mysterious package and began to observe it.

"Is there a problem?" Someone asked. He turned his head.

"Mr. Kim, welcome..."

"There is no problem sir, I just want to do a periodic check." He replied.

"Hmm, unwrap it," Kim ordered.

The man nodded, then opened the zipper on the package. It was a human body with a breathing apparatus in its mouth. It was neither alive nor dead. A clear tube connected directly to his wrist revealed a thick, fresh liquid flowing smoothly into a small 550cm bag.

Kim smiled with satisfaction at his 'livestock'. He asked the man to close the bag on the poor human.

"Make sure the quality is maintained, lately many groups are aggressively looking for bloodstock. Especially those pale nobles--"

"Tomorrow, you start hunting again. I'm sure, there are already many 'livestock' that are starting to become unproductive." He said, and the man nodded in understanding.

Kim left the cattle pen and got into his black Porche. He dialled a number.

"Evening sir, it looks like the next shipment will begin tomorrow."

"Good job Kim, do what needs to be done."

"Yes sir."

He hung up and sped away.

There were no holidays for those who work as public servants. But that doesn't mean they don't have free time. Kai was seen lying at Soobin's desk, while the owner was spooning chicken soup into his mouth while watching the news on his smartphone.

"The number of missing person cases has increased in the past two months. The authorities have to work extra hard to investigate the motives---..."

"Hahhh, it's just getting worse every day," Kai said. He sat next to Soobin and stole a mouthful of his chicken soup.

"It's definitely their doing," Soobin said.

"Pale-skinned?"

"Hmm, who else. Did you forget their mission?"

"Of course not, ruling the earth and all that. Wow..."

"Doctor Choi!" Someone called out as they suddenly burst in.

"Yoona? What's wrong?"

"New patient! Right away!" The woman darted off to prepare the room for the patient.

He got up and put on his white coat. Since it wasn't his turn, Kai didn't move from his previous position. He was still happily spooning the good-looking man's soup.

A woman, approximately 27 years old, was attacked suddenly on her way out of her house. There were three stab wounds. They were quite deep and almost hit the vital organs. Soobin, with the help of some fellow nurses, started to treat the wounds.

It took approximately 35 minutes to complete. Soobin asked Yoona, his assistant to clean up the tools that had been used.

"Min Gi-ssi, check your blood pressure every four hours. If there are any problems, you can call Yoona," he said to which one of the nurses nodded.
