We've been down here in Punta Cana, Dominica Republic for the past four days now but finally our purpose for being in this tropical oasis is about to be fulfilled.

When Lucious and I got engaged, he told me to pick any place in the world I wanted to get married, and he would make it happen. He took me shopping in Paris shortly after we got back together, which was my first time out of the country, and it was amazing.  Despite having to get a special business travel permit from my P.O. to even leave, we signed a French artist while abroad, then he took me sightseeing all over the place.

Lots of shopping....Liters of fabulous French wine...Loads of superb food...and well tons and tons of sex. I mean shit, we always end up intertwined with each other at some point most days. Yet that was definitely an experience to remember.

I decided on Punta Cana because it's absolutely beautiful here....warm, sunny, and the polar opposite of the New York cold we left behind nearly a week ago.

Sitting in front of the vanity within the master suite of my private cabana, I examined the image before me. I really can't believe that this day's actually here, during the 17 years I sat in that cell missing my family, I never envisioned that Lucious and I would be back in this place.

This wedding has morphed and evolved into the most talked about event of the year. The guest list is outrageous and we're still trying to decide if we're going to sell the photos to one of the five different magazines who've made offers for them.

We also had offers to film the wedding and air it as a two-hour special event by Bravo, VH1, and BET, but I definitely didn't want to do no mess like that. I didn't want our privacy invaded in such a way and with the status of most of the people here, it wouldn't have been fair to put them on blast while they're trying to enjoy themselves.

Vera was so grateful because Lucious agreed to be the spokesman for her new men's wedding collection to help her introduce it to the world, she designed me four different one-of-a-kind dresses to choose from for free.

I knew that this was going to be a crazy day, but I really didn't prepare myself for all the chaos that's been surrounding us. I'm so nervous that I don't know how I'm going to make it all the way down that long ass isle.

Michelle, Tianna, Lola, Porsha, and Carol are all dressed in their matching magenta gowns and Lola looks like a little mini version of myself in her flower girl dress. Of course, my baby girl's fly, her father had Vera make her an outfit as well.

I gave all my bridesmaid's gold accessories to accent the colors of the ceremony. The men are decked to the tee in their white tuxes with magenta and gold vest and matching ties.

Carol crept up behind me with a smile along her face and placed her hands along my shoulders.

"Alright girl you ready? It's that time." She cheerfully sung as our eyes met in the mirror. I exhaled and nodded, giving myself one last glance over as I stood up to ensure nothing is out of place.

Makeup impeccable...check, gold tiara firmly in place...check, veil...check, it's that time I told myself then took a deep breath.

Porsha and Tianna trotted up beside me as we made our way towards the main door of the suite and helped straighten my train, each grabbing a side so that it won't drag.

Becky just came by a few minutes ago and took Laylah to sit with her in the front row, while Carol, whose of course my maid of honor grabbed my massive mixed array bouquet and handed it to me.

"I love you, Cookie." My sister exclaimed, our bodies parked near the foyer. I smiled at the genuine elation and brink of tears misting her almond orbs, then kissed her cheek.
