Surrounded by the comforting warmth of their shared room, Meerab was swathed in a sense of euphoria that was novel to her. Bathed in the soft, mellow glow of the solitary lamp by the bedside and the silver light streaming in through the windows, she felt a newfound peace settle within her heart.

A smile tugged at her lips, her eyes sparkling with happiness as she caught her reflection in the mirror, her heart still echoing with the words Murtasim had spoken - when you say I don't love you, you're wrong. I do love you, mujhe tumse mohabbat hai - his voice thick with emotion. Those words seemed to reverberate within her, igniting a surge of joy that she felt would consume her.

Hub. Uns. Mohabbat. Aqeedat. Ibaadat. Junoon. Maut.

Perhaps all of them yet didn't exist between them, but for the first time, she admitted that they were on that path. He had claimed to be for a while, and the path of love she had realized she was on filled her being, blooming in her heart, a vibrant hue of emotion that she had never experienced before. She found herself drowning in the sensation, a buoyant giddiness she hadn't known she could feel.

Every fiber of her being was thrumming, alive and bursting with the enormity of her feelings. She was in love with her husband, truly, deeply, a realization that both overwhelmed and thrilled her. She giggled, covering her mouth as the joy seemed to spill out of her, infecting the air around her. It was so overwhelming, the happiness inside her - it was too large to be contained within her. It felt like it was seeping out through her pores, filling the room with its vibrant, effervescent energy.

She turned to look at Murtasim, his face serene in the dim light. As she studied his relaxed features, her heart overflowed with affection, a slow, warm trickle that filled her entire being.

Now, as she allowed herself to feel the full depth of her emotions, she felt a rush of gratitude. Gratitude for the journey that had led her to this point, for the experiences that had shaped her, and most importantly, for Murtasim, who had shown her what it meant to love and...be loved.

It was love, the feeling she hadn't been able to label but knew there was a more than little of, she had known it was more than a mere attraction, care, or even liking. This was her love for Murtasim. There was a beautiful, profound sense of rightness about it.

And it made her absolutely giddy and playful.

Meerab, holding one end of the yellow blanket he had taken outside to cover them on the bench, tossed the other side towards Murtasim, her lips twitching to suppress the giggle bubbling up inside her. "Help me fold it." She playfully commanded, her eyes sparkling with a mischief that had been missing earlier in the night.

Murtasim, taken by surprise, flinched as the unexpected projectile flew towards him. His reflexes, always swift and precise, allowed him to catch it just before it grazed his face. He shot her an amused look, his eyes lit with a hint of a challenge.

As she motioned for him to fold the blanket, her heart fluttered uncontrollably. Seeing him standing there, that playful grin playing on his lips, sparked a rush of newfound awareness within her. Her heart pounded as the pieces fell into place in her mind.

His presence was a magnetic pull she couldn't resist, causing her to miss the moment his hand moved to the middle of the blanket. With a swift tug, he held it taut and pulled, sending her flying towards him. She halted just in time to avoid crashing into him, her breath hitching as their bodies aligned.

His eyes locked onto hers again, the intensity of his gaze making her heart skip a beat. It was a promise, a promise of a love that would be as deep and vast as the ocean, if she just gave in. Their hands brushed as they folded the blanket together, each touch sparking goosebumps along her skin.
