In the echoes of the past, lost letters lie,
Unspoken words, emotions left awry,
In the quiet corners of their hearts,
Unsent letters, where love imparts.
Her pen danced on the paper's white,
Ink spilled with thoughts she'd hold so tight,
Words she wished to share, but feared to send,
Afraid of how her feelings might transcend.
"Dear Ben," the letters would begin,
Ink stained with the yearning deep within,
Confessions of love she couldn't reveal,
In the shadows of her heart, they'd conceal.
Each night, beneath the moon's soft light,
She'd pen her heart's desire, her delight,
Longing for courage to bridge the divide,
Wishing they had confessed before she'd glide.
In the hallways, their eyes would meet,
His heart ached for words he couldn't greet,
His letters would start, then be torn apart,
Fear locking love within its chambered heart.
"My favourite stalker," his unsent letters would tease and say,
"I wish I could find the words to convey,
The way you make my world come alive,
With you, I feel more than I can strive."
Yet, those letters remained untouched,
Their confessions still lost, unrevealed, hushed,
The unspoken love between their hearts,
A symphony of emotions that never departs.
Oh, how they wished they'd taken the chance,
To send those letters, to embark on romance,
But the hands of time moved swift and fast,
And the chance to confess had passed.
Now, those unsent letters float in the breeze,
Whispers of love, carried by the trees,
Lost in the realms of what could've been,
In the tapestry of dreams, their love unseen.
Yet, in their hearts, the love still lingers,
Unsent letters, etched with trembling fingers,
A love that time cannot erase,
A love that forever will hold its place.
For in the silence of their souls' embrace,
They'll find solace in love's untold grace,
Unsent letters, a testament to love's art,
Forever etched in each other's heart.
