They rode Juniper at gallop only a few minutes at a time, and then would walk for a bit. They'd run a mile, and then walk a mile.
They kept up this pace for about an hour, and they stopped, for a break. Mable and Alex talked, and tried their best not to think about Josh, Julie, and Adam.  Mable wondered if there was any romance going on between Julie and Adam. And if there was, she couldn't wait to hear it. Far in the distance, they could hear a shout. They had no idea who it was, but Mable swore she recognized it. "Julie.." Alex mused.
"It can't be.." Mable muttered. They sat in complete silence, to hear two different, deeper voices shouting over each other. "Oh no! What if she and Adam are in danger?" Alex stressed, as she started to hyperventilate.
"They're going to be fine! I know because me and Juniper are going to check it out. You coming?" Mable asked, standing up. Alex nodded, and they hopped on Juniper, and galloped at full speed, in direction of the shouts.
It took a long time, but eventually, they found where they thought the shouts were coming from. There was some blood on the ground and the could hear someone grumbling in pain in the bushes. "Who's there!? Come out! I have a mutant wolf and I'm not afraid to use her!" Mable shouted, just to turn to Juniper and apologize to her.
"Mable?" The guy winced, coming out of the bushes.
"Get back in there you filthy animal! I don't wanna look at your ugly, bloody face!" Mable mumbled.
"Josh!? What happened?" Alex asked, rushing to his aid.
"I was beat up by your sister." He groaned.
"She's alive!?" The girls said in sync.
"I'm surprised Adam didn't beat you up." Mable huffed.
"He had a broken arm." Josh said, sitting down.
"Well, was he okay?" Mable asked, shocked that Alex was helping Josh.
     "He was fine." Josh winced.
"Why were you fighting with them?" Alex asked, wiping some blood off with water and a Kleenex.
"I was leading them toward some of my grandfather's workers." He sighed.
Alex's eyes grew full of anger and shock, as she packed full a punch, and caused him to shout out in pain. "You stupid piece of...dirt! Dirt that was violated by a horse's fresh poo!" She shouted, causing Mable to smile, proud of Alex.
"Which way did they go?" Mable asked, interrupting her angry moment.
"That way." Josh groaned, pointing in the direction Adam and Julie went.
    "Let's go." Alex sighed.
"Totally." Mable agreed, spitting on the ground next to Josh.
They hopped on Juniper, and searched all over, trying to find Adam and Julie. No such luck.
After about an hour, they gave up and continued to head home.
They rode for another hour and, they were back in town, and the sun was setting. They kept Juniper in a large group of trees, and decided to come back later. "We're finally home!" Mable yipped, jumping up and down.
"Let's just hope Adam and Julie are here." Alex sighed.
They walked down the streets, in the direction of their home, and everyone was walking around, looking dazed. "I see everyone is back to normal." Alex smiled.
     "Yep." Mable agreed.
When they got to Alex's house, they went inside and searched for Adam and Julie. Nowhere.
