Chapter 13: We're Housemate, right?

"Haneul!"

    Haneul turned around to see Jongseong was already there with her room door already wide open. She narrowed her eyes at him. "I'm just going to tolerate you since I barge into your room the other day"

"Yay!" he went inside the room and looked around. "Quite spacious"

     She looked at him lazily from her study table. He sat on the carpet beside her bed. He stretched his exhausted body.

"What do you want?" she asked. "If you just want to sit around, get out"

"You're being mean to me" he put the box he was carrying in front of him. "I'm here to show you this. The photobook from the photoshoot"

     Hearing of it, Haneul immediately pushed herself off the chair and joined him.

"Finally!" she exclaimed. He glared at her but she insisted for him to open the package in a hurry.

     Jongseong unboxed the parcel. He took out the photobooks, each for each concept.

"It's among the first few printed. Not released yet to the public so don't share this on any social media yet. And they'll send the soft copy to our email later" he advised.

"Aye aye captain"

     They first went through the 'Slice of Life' pictures.

"You look ugly!" Haneul pointed to the picture where they made funny faces in the mirror. "Shut it" he stuck out his tongue at him.

     They went silent as they went through the other pictures.

"Woah we look like happy couples. It's cute, I like it" she said. They stopped at the picture of them kissing at the kitchen counter.

"They include this too?" her face grew hot.

"I don't know what's gotten into me that time..." he said which made her look at him. They were so close to each other. And both of them recalled the moment in the picture.

     Jongseong slowly leaned in. She froze there, anticipating for what was coming. But she snapped out of it.

"Let's look at the other concept" She moved away and took the other book. This time keeping a safe distance between them. Jongseong noticed her behaviour and smirked. "You're right" he played along.

     They went through the other concept and it did not help at all. Haneul coughed, shocked at how sensual and wrong the picture came out.

"I can't believe I did those poses!" she covered her eyes with her hands. "Why? It looks good" he teased. "You pervert!" she threw her pillow at him.

    She was still going through the photobook with him holding the other photobook.

"Haneul" he called. "Yup" she turned to him.

"Thank you" he smiled. "For trusting me, even for a while"

     Once again, her stomach felt funny. She quickly looked at the photobook again.

"Woah I look gorgeous here!"

     Jongseong chuckled at her antics. He too went to the photobook again.

"I want to thank you too, Jongseong"

    He turned to her. She could not look at his face as she spoke. "It's my first time being in such a spotlight. And it was scary. But somehow I feel grateful to experience such a thing. I just want to thank you for the opportunity and .... for just being there with me"

    He felt his face getting redder. He looked away with a smirk. "You're welcome"

    Jongseong was just lying around in her room when his eyes landed on the collection of novels on her shelves. The beautiful book covers caught his attention. He got up and slid one of it out. His face changed. 'Author Kim Sunoo?'
