Chapter 10: Come Be My Teacher

Haneul was in the living room, scrolling through her phone. She read the article she came across.

| A huge tech company heir past - A school bully and a delinquent?

'J' had a history of being a bully at school. One report says that he beat and abused a student to the point that the student suffered from mental trauma. This incident has been reported to the school but no further action was taken due to his family background.

'Jongseong? This is about him? Bro.. just when I started to consider him a close friend' Haneul sighed.

"Let's go" Jongseong appeared behind her, which made her jump a tad. She turned off her phone screen.

"Yea let's go" she got up and walked to the door. Jongseong watched as she walked. 'Don't tell me you believe such a rumor' his face saddens.

They were in the car with him driving. She was sitting in the passenger seat beside him, playing with her finger. They were still awkward after the pool incident but after reading the bully article, she felt more distance between them. Haneul doesn't seem interested in talking or having normal conversation anymore. Jongseong cleared his throat as he stole a glance at her. He felt the cold awkwardness, and he did not like it. It felt just the earlier times they met each other.

"Haneul" he called.

"Hm" she replied short.

"You're sure about this? You're agreeing to do this photoshoot without even looking at the concept"

"Yea. It's just taking a few pictures right?"

And boy she was wrong.

She arrived at the meeting room of Cauline, a modeling agency Jongseong was under. She was greeted warmly by the staff there. The meeting began.

"Woah!" she couldn't help but gasp as they showed Jongseong's past work. Jongseong heard her and leaned against his chair, arms crossed on his chest with a smug on his face. Haneul saw him and rolled her eyes. She continued to look at the presentation of his past works, she blushed a bit. 'This is not fair! He's gorgeous!'

Next, the team leader explained about the theme for the photoshoot.

"Woah 'Slice of Life' is really cute" Haneul nodded to herself. The staff near her smiled to herself listening to her comment.

"This overall concept is innocent and cute, and homey so it should feel close to the public" the team leader who was presenting said. "For the highlight, you two can do some activity together"

"I suggest cooking" Jongseong said. He turned to Haneul. "Right? We always cook together"

"Yup" she nodded, totally agreeing.

"Woah, I can't wait to see the soft side of the scary Park Jongseong" Mr. Jang teased. The whole meeting attendance chuckled at his joke. He was one of the few people who dared to tease him.

"And the next concept-" the team leader was about to continue.

"Wait! Two concepts?" Jongseong was obviously surprised. The whole meeting attendance were ready to get a good scolding from this last minute decision.

"Yes..." the team leader replied. Obviously she was a tad scared as she couldn't continue.

"Let's just listen first" Haneul looked at Jongseong. She sensed the scary atmosphere in the room. "It might be another great concept"

Jongseong thought for a bit then nodded. "Alright continue"

Haneul could swear she heard all the staff sighed in relief. The team leader now smiled and turned to the other slide that made Haneul internally scream in her head.

"Next concept is a bit... sensual. But considering our stars are married, we thought it would be perfect for you two"

Haneul stole a glance at Jongseong. He was still focusing on the slide, but even in the dim lighting, she saw his reddened ears.

'Oh gosh!' she bit her lips as she looked at the example photos. She felt her face getting hotter. 'We need to take pictures like that?!'

The meeting was on break. Jongseong walked out the toilet and saw Haneul sitting outside at the lobby, looking at the scenery.

"Hey" he greeted her. "Hey" she mustered a smile. He scratched the back of his head. "About the photoshoot... It's okay if you want to sit this one out"

She stared at the scenery. "... I don't know..." she turned to him. "It'll be awkward again right if we did the photoshoot? I mean both of us"

"I think so" he avoided her stares. "But there's always another shoot"

"But tell me. Professionally, are you okay with this concept, Jongseong?" "Professionally?" 'Yes putting our relationship aside"

Her intense stare did make him blush. "It's just another photoshoot for me, so I'm okay with it"

"Then I'm okay with it too"

"What?!"

"You heard me" she smiled innocently. "I said let's kill this photoshoot!" she held out her fist bump.

Jongseong fist bumped her with a smile. He swore he kept feeling weird around her now.

The meeting proceeded.

"So it's decided" this time Mr. Jang led the discussion. "The photoshoot will be in a month. Since Mrs. Park is new, I suggest you join a few classes first as preparation. Mr. Park, it would be great if you join too. And I recommend both of you to practice a lot. On your own or you can come here, we have plenty of empty practice room"

Haneul stared at the timeline suggestion on the slide. 'Am I making the right decision? Bro I need to get in shape fast!' she glanced at her rather thick thigh. She pouted.

Haneul went inside the gym of their house. She looked at herself in the mirror. Her hair was done up into a high ponytail. She wore a black sports bra with a white windbreaker over it and black high waisted leggings.

'It feels strange' she thought. 'This is too revealing!'

She turned to the door. 'I need to change!'

Right then, Jongseong came in, nearly bumped into her. Both of them had their eyes widened.

"Where are you going?" he asked. "Change my clothes, it's too revealing" she said. Now that she mentioned it, he looked down at her outfit. He quickly looked away, ears redden. 'It is a bit too revealing from her usual daily clothes'

"Just zip up your windbreaker that'll fix it" he moved to the side. Haneul did what he suggested and looked at her reflection again. 'I guess it's okay like this'

Right then she saw him in the mirror, looking at her with his arms crossed on his chest. He was in his sleeveless sports shirt and sports shorts. She felt her face getting warmer the longer she stared at him. She cleared her throat and turned to him.

"Shall we start, Mr. Personal Trainer?" she smirked.

"Tsk" he bent down to narrow his eyes at her. "I hope you can keep up with me, new student"

"You bet I can"

He smirked at her spirit. She followed him to the treadmill.

"Mr. Jang said your body is already perfect but he said it will be great to fix it a bit more. And I too think it's great if we can train your stamina since doing a photoshoot is actually tiring" Jongseong began. "So yea let's start simple"

"Aye aye captain!" she saluted. He smirked. Deep down he was relieved they were involved together in the photoshoot. There was no more awkwardness between them.
