Their morning was silent with them eating breakfast and getting ready for a journey out of town. None of them dare to make any conversation besides asking the important things.
Jongseong glanced at his side to see Haneul already fell asleep, head leaning against the window. He sighed. 'Why would she kiss me back if she doesn't have any feelings towards me? Is it the heat of the moment kind of thing?' he asked himself. But he knew deep down it wasn't the case. He remembered her eyes telling him everything. How they shined brightly whenever she was near him, the smile she gave him when he spoke to her, the soft look on her face when he was talking to her. 'Is it possible not to have feelings for each other when we are stuck with each other most of the time?'
They arrived at the beachside villa. They met some of Jongseong's colleagues at the lobby since all of them were attending the company dinner near there. The two were directed to their villa.
"Woah!" Haneul couldn't help but gasp as they entered the living room with a sea view. He watched her with a smile. "It's gorgeous" he stood beside her, enjoying the view for a bit before turning to her. 'You are'
She noticed his gaze and turned to him immediately. Her face turned red and quickly went to check other rooms. Their villa has a private pool, two rooms, two bathrooms and a small kitchen area. Haneul chose a room and laid on the bed.
Jongseong leaned against the door frame, looking at her. "Don't you want the master bedroom? I can take this room"
She glanced at him. "God I'm too lazy to get up right now. Just take that room" she stretched her exhausted body. To her surprise he lifted her up.
"What are you doing?! Put me down!" she panicked and wrapped her arms around his neck. He only chuckled at her actions. "I don't think so"
'He's really not sorry for anything he does now' she thought.
He carried her to the master bedroom. She could feel his stare burning on her face the whole way. He set her down gently on the bed. Haneul watched as he went to the door. He glanced back and jerked his head to the closet.
"I have something for you in there. You're joining the dinner with me tonight"
"I thought I said I don't want to go" she sighed.
"Someone wants to see you so just come with me" he said and left her.
Haneul sighed and stared at the ceiling for a few minutes before she decided to get up. She went to the closet and gasped after she opened it.
After enjoying their private times at the villa, it was time for dinner.
"Haneul?" Jongseong called her as she glanced at his watch. They might be late.
"Coming" her footsteps could be heard running down the hallway. "Sorry" she said and stopped in front of him. He looked up to her, mesmerized.
She fixed her wavy long hair that fell on her shoulder. She was wearing a one shoulder long black dress. The fabric hugged her curves perfectly showing off her slender legs from the slit of the dress. A simple yet elegant dress. Jongseong observed her for a couple of seconds before he realized he was staring. She smiled slightly seeing him watching her with a smirk. "You're staring"
"Sorry" he cleared his throat. "You like the dress? I have the stylist pick them for you"
"It's gorgeous, I like it. Thank you" she smiled.
It was then he noticed the little bracelet with a little star charm on her wrist.
"Do you like it? I choose it myself" he asked. Haneul brought up the bracelet and nodded. "I love it!"
