Chapter 24: It's Time To Kick Ass!

It's only been a day since the others found out about what happened with Cobra and the boy, Saito, however, he seemed pretty normal as one might say the next day. As if it never happened. Natsu just thought that he was hiding his sadness, but Cobra assured him he wasn't. "For the last time Natsu... I'm fine!" Cobra whined for the 6th time. He was being pestered. "Oh come on! It's only been a day, and you're completely fine? You don't have to fake it!" Cobra got out of bed and stretched, Natsu's eyes were stuck, checking out Cobra's ass. "If I was still in a bad mood, I wouldn't have fucked you, now would I?" "I don't know, don't people do that kind of thing to forget some stuff?" "....Fuck you Natsu." "You already did, Erik."

The two got dressed and left for the guild. Along the way Natsu had suggested they take on a job together with the rest of team. Cobra liked the sound of that, and agreed. He hadn't been on one for a while now so, it would be a change of pace. "I'm sure the others will be glad to see your okay!" He glanced over at Natsu, and simply smiled and chuckled. Natsu, having heard this wondered what he found so funny? "What are you laughing at?" "Just look at you... I've changed you beyond belief." Natsu raised a confused brow, not knowing what he meant. "What're you--" "I guess change is the wrong word.. However, I never thought you could be like this.. Loving, caring, playful in certain situations." He couldn't help but blush a little. "I-Idiot! I'm always like that!" "Around your friends, its not as deep as this." "Probably because you are my boyfriend. Ever thought of that?" Cobra snorted and looked straight. "Maybe it is."

They arrived at the guild right on time. As they entered the doors and greeted a few people, whilst going in, Erza and the others were standing by the Job Board. The two walked over. "Hey! We were just gonna ask you guys to go on a job, looks like ya beat us to it." Natsu wore his hands behind his head in a relaxing fashion, he looked pretty happy today. "You're awfully happy today Natsu." Erza commented after greeting the two. "Well, they say when you get 'some' you smile from ear to ear. Cobra must have given it good last night." Gray commented with smug look on his face. Cobra said nothing, he just stood there with a dirty smirk on his face. "WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE HIM DOING IT? WHY NOT ME?!" Everyone just automatically assumed he was the bottom, and he sure as hell was. "I can't see Cobra.. taking it." Lucy said in between giggles. "Alright, this part of the conversation is over. Have you all chosen a job to do yet?" Erza gave him the flyer that they had selected, and began reading its content. "Slay them all if you dare, Earth, Lightning, Water, Fire and Air. Defeat the 5 elemental wizards that have come and taken over our mountain of Gold." As he read it aloud, Natsu got hyped from the challenge. "Oh yeah! Now I'm fired up!" He slammed his fist into the palm of his other hand, already ready for combat. "Hold on fire brain, this isn't exactly going to be easy. This is a high ranking S-Class job." The fire wizard scoffed. "So what? We've completed S-Class jobs already, and it'll be easier wih Cobra here with us." A smile formed its way onto Lucy's face. "Like Natsu says, we shouldn't have a problem. Besides, we can just have the DragonSlayers take on their element, like Natsu fight the Fire Wizard while Wendy takes on the Air Wizard." The others nodded in agreement, whilst Cobra didn't. "It won't be that easy.." They all looked at him Puzzled. "Why not?"

"I've heard of them.. These 5 Elemental Mages are in their own league.. They have complete mastery over their element, and possess a high reserve of magic power. One of them alone could take out an entire guild with little to no effort." The others looked surprised to hear him say all of this. "So wait, how do you know all this and we never heard of them?" Cobra's good eye twitched as he folded his arms. An unpleasant memory. "I heard they once fought with Grimoire Heart. Though they didn't win, they gave them a lot of trouble." Some seemed a bit worried, however Natsu wore a confident grin. "We were the ones who defeated Grimoire Heart, so they shouldn't be a problem for us!" His hands lit afire, he was more than fired up. "We defeated Grimoire Heart and its master, so these guys will be a piece of cake!" "Looks like there's no helping him." "We'll be fine, once we don't act recklessly." Natsu, Gray and Erza said respectively. Lucy wore a nervous smile, not completely agreeing with them, but following suit anyway. " Cobra still wasn't convinced they would be okay, he was somewhat the cautious type so, he wouldn't think likely.

"Well said Natsu. With that mindset, you and the others should be alright!" Mirajane spoke as she walked over to their group. There was a young man with her as well, one they had never seen before. "Who's he Mira?" Gray questioned, noticing the boy staring at him. "This is Jinsu, he's from the far eastern part of Fiore. He travelled all the way over here just to join us!" The male was average height, had spikey brown hair and brown eyes. He was also pretty muscular. "Hey, name's Jinsu Ken." "Nice to meet ya!" "Welcome to Fairy Tail." "What kind of name is that? Sounds like something from another continent." "That's pretty rude." Lucy, Erza, Natsu and Cobra respectively said. Jinsu just laughed. "It's a name I saw in an old story book that I liked to read as a child, so I changed my name to it. Well, I didn't have a name to begin with." He wore a smile as he said this, but it wasn't that pleasant of a situation. "How about you take him with you on your job? From what I've seen, he's pretty strong." Mira wore her signature bright smile as always. The others didn't look too convinced however. "We're not sure Mira.. He's still new and all, and this is an S-Class job we're taking. It might get rough out there." Erza spoke in a matter of fact manner. "I don't appreciate being underestimated. Erza Scarlet." In a flash, he appeared behind her and attempted to punch her, however she was able to guard it with her sword in time. "How did you-" "Enhancement Magic. Allows me to freely increase or decrease my own strength, speed, stamina and endurance. This wasn't even half of this increase." The others looked dumbfounded, besides Cobra. He smirked at the fact that he proved them wrong there and then. "I see.. I guess we can accommodate you then." Gray immediately spoke up. "I don't think we should. It's not like this is just some random S-Class job, we're fighting those Elemental Wizards or whatever they're called. They sound pretty strong, so we-" "Elemental Wizards? Surely you're not talking of the 5 Elemental Wizards, that reside in the mountains?" They all looked a bit confused. "How do you know that?" Jinsu folded his arms, an angry expression appeared. "I was once one of the 5, and got banished." "WHAT?!"
