Chapter 3: Painful Truth

Both Natsu and Gray somehow ended up in a fight with Klodoa, and surprisingly he was giving more problems then expected. "There! Got him!" Gray stood victorious as he now had Klodoa in his hands. Or so he thought, Klodoa could bend and not be broken, so he began attacking the two with his hard like skull. "Dammit Gray! Can't you do anything right!? Break the dam thing already!" Natsu growled to Gray as they were relentlessly beaten by Klodoa. "You try doing something flame brain! He's pretty agile for a stick!" Gray bit back, attempting to grab its head but failing. Cobra leaned against the wall watching as they failed miserably just to break Klodoa. "You idiots... How hard is it to break a dam staff!?" Cobra said a little pissed off that they were having such a hard time with Klodoa. "Cobra! Don't be like that! I'm just stalling time for Master Zero!" The stick said rather sinisterly earning a growl from Cobra.

"Right now Midnight-sama is being pushed into a corner by that red haired woman you defeated when we all met at first." The red haired woman he spoke us was Erza, a grin plastered its way onto Natsu's face. "Things'll be even better with Erza around! This Zero guy your so afraid of won't be able to beat us all!" Cobra just held his head down. He kind of felt useless, not being able to move that good at the moment. Though he praised himself for enduring this much. Though he got healed earlier, it was just for his staggering movement from Natsu's roar, but he was still injured. Then blocking them from that bomb made things even worse.

"By the way, Cobra, where is that snake we saw you with before?" Lucy could literally feel the sad vibe coming from him. "I sent her away.. After Brain shot me. I didn't.. Want him to do anything to her." Lucy gave a soft smile and decided to leave it there.

Another 10 minutes passed, still Natsu and Gray were trying to get ahold of and destroy Klodoa. "Oh!!" Klodoa stopped mid-air causing the two to crash into each other. "Can't you watch where you're going pyro maniac!?" "How about you look where you're going ice stripper!" The two began bickering while the other three had their eyes on a glowing Klodoa. "No no no no! Master Zero.. Is coming!!" The others fell silent, besides Cobra who was already silent from the get go. Though it was questionable, he was excited that Zero was coming, so why does he sound afraid? "What's your deal? Weren't you the one happy he was coming? You sound like Cobra now." Gray said with a smirk on his face, the staff began panicking. "I only did that to scare Cobra! I had no idea Midnight-sama would be beaten!! This is bad.."

A few minutes passed by quickly and an incredible pressure struck everyone in the room, Klodoa let out a nervous laugh as the man made his way to their room. He arrived rather quickly.

They immediately knew it was him thanks to his clothing. His skin color was much lighter than before, his hair was longer and a now a shade of gray. His eyes were as red as blood. The others stared at his figure as he walked into the room, with the widest of grins. "Well it seems things have gotten interesting, haven't they Klodoa?" Klodoa dropped to ground and began bowing repeatly to Zero. "Yes Master Zero! Welcome back Master Zero! Its great to have you back Master Zero!" Zero let out a wicked chuckle as he threw off the fur coat that Brain had on. "Its good to be back. Now.. Its hard to believe that the Six Generals were defeated. Especially that Midnight." As he spoke a green aura surrounded him making a green shirt with a black pattern to the bottom appear. "Well you see Master Zero. Not all of them were defeated. Cobra betrayed us for them!" Klodoa said as he used his bottom half to point at Cobra, who was still leaning against the wall.

Brain was smiling like a crazy person as he walked closer to them. "Well, it seems I have to clean up house. But first.. I'll take care of you Cobra. My precious traitor." With that said, he fired a green attack from his first two finger, Natsu got his the way of him. "Move! You'll be killed!" Cobra made protests but he just gave him a smirk. "Relax Cobra. I already told you.. We're gonna stop this freak." The attack was now close and Natsu covered his fist in fire, he then punched his attack and redirected it back to him. This surprised Zero but he made no effort to stop or Dodge the attack. "Heh! What I told you!? Direct hit!" Cobra didn't respond, he just stared. It was amazing that he was able to actually knock his attack back, but... "Direct hit? I wouldn't say that.. It seems I didn't put enough power into it." The small dust cloud cleared showing a non-damaged Zero. He looked over to them and smirked. "Come at me! I only exist to destroy, and for starters I'll destroy you all!!" Making his declaration clear, his magic power was now at a much higher level. The pressure they felt was unbelievable. Natsu was the first too dash in. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" He jumped in the air and landed a punch to Zero, but it had no effect. The maniacal master then grabbed him and prepared to attack but Gray stopped him. "Ice Make: Super Freeze Arrow!" The arrow impacted his arm and froze on contact giving Natsu the chance to break free.
