A Different Outcome (HIATUS, BEING REWRITTEN)

Chapter 28: The Real Threat

A/N: I don't plan on making this part of the story too long but-- I had the inspiration to write so I was like why the F*** not. Hope you all will like it~

And the battle began! Natsu and Katsu began their fierce flaming battle. Altair and CObra were about to confront each other but then..! "Wait, Cobra." Cobra was about to make the first move and attack, but stopped. "What do you mean wait?! This isn't-" A certain thought from her crossed his mind. ".. Is that what you stopped me for?" "Yes, I thought that it would be best to know, before you are defeated here." "Big talk from some flat-chested bitch!" Altair didn't seem fazed by it at all. "He.. shouldn't have said that.." Jinsu commented, watching the scene unfold. "That was a nice insult. Terribly overused, but nice nontheless. It simply means you'll end up in the same position as the others who've said it before." The wind picked up once again, she became clad in the raging wind and began floating, ascending to the sky slowly. "Heh, is that was your way of getting me to lose my focus, you're sadly mistaken." She looked a bit surprised, but smirked anyway at his declaration. "The other Fairy Tail members can take care of themselves, there's nothing for me to worry about! So I'll put my all into defeating you, once and for all!" Determined as he was, Cobra jumped into the fight, all out from the get-go! The sleeves of his coat dissolved as his arms changed. "All out from the beginning I see.. Very well then. I too shall hold nothing back." "Either way, you're going down!" Cobra's entire arm changed into it's maroon colored scaled form with claws. He activated his Dragon Force. 

Meanwhile, Natsu was being hard pressed by Katsu. "What's wrong Dragon Slayer? A human too much for you to handle?!" His insults were pissing him off with each second, making him loose his focus. Natsu got blasted back a bit, but was able to defend against the attack. "This guy is tough.. and his flames are blue.. I've never seen this quality before." He commented, observing the blue flames that surrounded the other males' fists. "Of course you wouldn't, someone like you could never reach this power!" The fire slayer gritted his teeth, wondering how he'd bring him down quickly. Suddenly a light bulb lit upstairs. He devised a plan. "Risky.. but I'll give it a shot!" Declaring this, he ran towards him again. "Charging head on? That's going to be your downfall, Dragon Slayer!" Katsu also ran to him, closing the gap between the two and attack. "Fire Spiral!" The blue flames got bigger as he drew his fist back, lunging it forward as if he were punching, a spiral wave of blue flames caught Natsu off guard and impacted to him. "Arrghh! Dammit.. That attack..!" He was feeling even more pain than before, it seemed to really start hurting. When the magic faded, he landed on his back a few feet away, it seemed he was barely able to move. "I put a lot more force into that one.. I don't know what you planned by jumping straight in like that but, I took precautions." Katsu's flames died down from his hands. He apparently deemed the fight over. "Looks like this is the end of the battle, Natsu Dragneel. As I thought, there's nothing special with you stupid Dragon Slayers. You can't even kill a Dragon! You're all a bunch of weaklings! I can bet those dragons are probably just as half-assed like you Dragon Slayers!" Natsu didn't care much for his insults, but the last one struck a nerve. "What.. did you.. say..?" His voice could barely be heard as he struggled to get up. His arms shaking violently as he forced his body up. Katsu gave him a pitiful look, whilst repeating myself. "What's wrong? Did I hurt your feelings? I said you're a weakling, and I'm pretty sure Dragons aren't even a threat. Weaklings can't defeat mythical creatures.. but I'm sure I can." He wore a sinister smirk as he said the last part. After struggling to get up, Natsu was finally standing on both feet, with his head hung low. "Dragons.. aren't weak.. my dad.. the King of Fire Dragons taught me my magic... and he is not weak.. neither are we..!" His head rose high, anger seething through him. 

"Ha! The Fire Dragon King taught you? He must be especially weak for you to only be this strong." That's where Natsu lost it. "Don't you dare insult Igneel! Igneel isn't weak at all!" His body became enflamed once again. Not caring for his injuries, Natsu jumped back into action. "Let me see what this power of the Fire Dragon King really is then, Natsu Dragneel!" Without a second to react, Katsu got attacked by Natsu. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" The attack's power behind it left Katsu shocked. 'He wasn't this strong earlier, so what could have happened?' The male thought to himself. Moral of the story: don't insult Igneel around Natsu. With that being said, Natsu landed a barrage of techniques on him. "Fire Dragons: Wing Attack! Claw! Grip Strike!" In sucession, he began inflicting damage onto Katsu. The last attack launched him back, but he regained his posture. "Dam you... Dam you, Dragon Slayer!!" He got pissed, and attacked Natsu once again however, this time none of his attacks were hitting Natsu. "All of my attacks.. Even my Spiral technique.. they aren't hitting him...!" "THIS IS MY FULL POWER! Dragon Slayer Secret Art!!" He made his way in front of the still shocked Katsu, and fired his ultimate move on him. "Crimson lotus Exploding Blade!" Spinning his fire engulfed hands in a circular motion, a spiral of fiery waves took Katsu head on, and he was helpless against it.
