Judas
"Up!" I feel something soft hit my face and I groan as I'm forced out of sleep. The hit coming again, this time registering it as a pillow that was swatting me. I turn over, my face pressed into the pillow and drool soaking the pillow. I turn to look at my beautiful attacker to find her chuckling at me. Overhead I see that dawn hasn't even broken yet.
"What time is it?" I ask.
"It's early. And we gotta get going. I got something to show you." Beau tosses the pillow back onto the bed and heads down stairs.
By the time I've showered and changed Beau is already waiting by the back door. She holds up a thermos and lunch box. She was dressed comfortably as usual. Clothes made for nothing but treading through the dirt and working long hours. T-shirt and sweatpants but no shoes. Beau never wore shoes.
Perhaps it was the fact there was never anything of danger to step on. The paths here were always smooth. Even in my Lycan form I could help but take in the softness of the soil, and the sweetness of the air. Crisp and fresh morning dew hit my nose and I could feel the beast in me awaken at the beautiful smell.
Eucalyptus and lemongrass.
Roses!
My beast swirling within me as Beau turned to look at us. Her hair tied in a long braid that swung in the breeze. A smirk on her face, her lips making any movement made my dick hard.
"C'mon!"
"We're not going to eat first?" I ask walking over to her.
"We'll eat when we get there."
I drag my feet behind her as she leads me through the clover field into the forrest. They sky still dark, the sun slow in it's ascendancy. Barely any clouds in the sky, as the trees occupied the sky overhead. I could hear the rustling of leaves around us and I saw Beau's family just a few paces away. Yawning and rubbing the sleep from their eyes. Multiple pack members also trudging through the thick brush of the forrest.
What is going on?
The path became steeper and I felt my muscles strain against the exercise. This would be easier if I were to shift, but I wanted to be close to Beau.
"I didn't expect the morning to come with a ridiculously steep hike." I huff, following closely behind Beau as she laughs at me but doesn't say anything. The woven lunch basket swung in her hands as she lifted it out of the way from low branches and rocks.
"Seriously Beau, what are we doing? The sun isn't even out yet!"
I would ask the same damn thing!
The voice in my head was unmistakably Zion's. He was just as confused and tired as I was. My eyes searching to see my own soldiers walking along with the pack. Lifting their knees with tired grunts and wiping the sweat off their brows with flimsy arms. Zion just behind me a few steps away with an irritated look on his face. Eventually we come to a plateau. The sky dimly lit, still dark but the rays of the sun peaking over the horizon. The mountains in the distance, standing proudly in way of the sun.
The snow on the mountain tops promising winter even in the heat of the summer. That actually sounds great right now.
Maybe staying here a while wouldn't be so bad! You and your soldiers love a good climb.
I send the thoughts away as soon as Beau sets the basket down. We came to a cliff. A cliff overlooking a wide wheat field. Beau reaches into the basket, holding up the lid as she pulled out a deep red blanket. Other pack members around me doing the same.
