Walking into the Lycan Palace was still as alien as the first couple of times I was here.

Cassie, even though we were on rocky terms still insisted on painting me before I left. My mother Petra, and Yazmin begged me to cut or at least trim the split ends that sat prominently in my hair. I let them just to get them to stop. So my hair was a touch shorter than I'd like.

Judas walked next to me as the palace was filled with every Alpha from every corner of the world. Some came with their beta's, some came with their mates. Most of them glanced in my direction the minute I walked through the halls.

Some seemed to immediately recognize me as they started whispering.

"That's the Alpha unclaimed by the crown."

"A female Alpha?"

"This is an affront to the moon and everything she stands for."

"The alpha of the so called Haven pack."

"She looks wild. Probably a rogue like all her other pack mates."

Judas leaned in, and it got quiet when he did. Everyone's ears perking up to hear what he was going to say to me.

"Don't pay any mind to them, Antonia. They are only intimidated by you." He says.

I don't say anything as I hear the snickers from the Alpha's pinning themselves to the walls, one red haired man staring at me with disgust. I walk ahead, moving into where the meeting was supposed to take place. A great hall that looked a lot like a court room. Wooden bleachers nailed to the walls, extravagant wood work and seating for where the kings and ministers were supposed to sit.

When I walked in, the rest of the Alpha's seemed to follow. Judas quickly kissed my cheek before walking further into the room, and disappearing behind a door at the base of the bleachers. I could catch a glimpse of the ministers sitting around a long table before the door slammed shut, echoing in the open space.

The minute I was alone I could feel the eyes on me.

"So, you are the Alpha of the Haven pack." A sarcastic pretentious voice spoke behind me.

I turn to see an Alpha I've never met before. Shocking red hair, and a bear that connected to his mustache. Pale skin that wouldn't dare touch the sun, and freckles sprinkled over a mature but noticeable disdainful face.

I cock an eyebrow, completely unimpressed.

"And you are?" I inquire my voice level, eyes meeting his with no challenge or reverence.

"Alpha Balik. Alpha of the LongTooth Pack." He introduces himself. "And you are Beau."

The use of my name doesn't really bother me. I know he meant it as an insult, not using my title in front of my name. But I'm just glad for once I don't have to correct someone.

"Yup." I say adding emphasis on the reply, his face twists and I don't think he likes how calm I am.

"I am Alpha Juan Rodrigo, Alpha of the Grey Stone pack." Another alpha steps forward. Very handsome and seemingly kinder than his counter parts. Dark hair neatly combed away from his face, young looking maybe late twenties, and bronzed skin. His mate steps forward. Same dark hair but light toned and bright eyes as she reaches out with her hand.

"And I'm Luna Estelle." I reach out returning the gesture and shake her hand politely. "This is the first time we've seen an unclaimed Alpha."

Her tone was intrigued but friendly.

The red sore behind her scoffs, rolling his eyes at the scene before him, but I pay him no mind.

"Everyone keeps making some sort of fuss about it, I can't imagine why, it's not like it's the most exciting thing to take place these last couple of weeks." I reply leaning back on my hips and shoving my hands in my pockets.
