AOI RAN around the school halls as her adrenaline and excitement cant be held anymore, ever since she started highschool, she always worked hard to take the "top 1" spot at the leaderboard.. she can imagine all the praises she could get as she walked to the halls..

As she got at the leaderboard, she immediatly looked for her name

"Aoi aisaka.. aoi aisaka..-" she spoke in her thoughts, her big smile fell as soon as she saw what place she was in..

"SECOND!? AGAIN!?"

Aoi exclaimed angrily as her books dropped from the floor.. she looked at the top one as her blood boiled even more.. he. Beat her again..

As aoi glared at his name being featured in the top of the leaderboard, she heard someone cleared theyre throat from the shadows, she turned to see a figure behind the pillars shadow.. and as the guy revealed himself, aoj realized, that its the person who stole the place "top 1" from her for the last three years.. the one and only.. kyle garcia

"Hello."

He spoke in a low and stern tone as a smirk can be seen in the boys face

"Oh please.. dont look at me like that. Your glare throws pencils instead of daggers."

Kyle mocked aoi who was looking away irritated, Step. Step. Step. And with one last step, they were face to face

"I know what you'll say to cheer yourself up. 'Oh! Atleast im second place, ill do better next time!' Well lets ruin that for you, being second place is nothing compared to being first. The first place gets all the fame and attention, and the second? Psh- everyone forgets about the second.. and the first place just sees them as the first loser."

Kyle stated without taking any breaks or so, he said it sternly with a smirk, trying to pull the girls nerve which was slightly working due to the fact that her hands were currently in a fist as her nails were dugging deeper in her palm

Aoi sighed and ignored kyle as she picks her books that fell from earlier due to the shock and surprise she got once she read the leaderboard

Without a word, she left the scene calmly, as if she just didnt plan of punching the shit out of the boy fromm earlier.

AS AOI sat on a cafeteria table, surrounded by her cousins, she coldnt help but be annoyed at what the boy said to her earlier making her zone out alot of times

"Earth to aoi?"

She heard her brother call for her, she snapped out to reality and turned ro her cousins and brother to see them all looking at her

"Oh? Uh yes?"

Aoi mumbled making pierrot raise his eyebrow

"You okay?"

The boy questioned his little cousin as aoi replies with a nod and a slight smile

"So.. i heard the grade 9th leaderboard has been released, have you seen it aoi?"

Gab asked her littke cousin makng aoi flinch, she gripped of her fork and looked at gab

"Im top two, as always.."

The girl mumbles as she rolled her eyes out of annoyment.. her cousins looked at her with confusement spreading all over theyre faces on why theyre cousin was mad even thought she was in a high place.. though, they brushed this off and continued eating theyre lunch

As aoi replayed the words kyle told her a few hours ago, a familiar face came inside the cafeteria as girls from the other tables started swooning over him. Aoi couldnt help but roll her eyes and gag from disgust, imagining what the hell was going on through the girls minds after simping over a annoying, cocky, and rude boy..

Elijah seemed to notice her staring at the boy that came in the cafeteria and spoke up..

"Are you simping for kyle like the other girls?"

Aois eyes widened as she denied it, she was also embarrased to thr fact that her cousins and brother was now looking at her..

"What! No way! Hes so rude and cold! Why would i like someone like him!?"

Her cousins started to smirk as her brother started chuckling, not beliving theyre little cousin, aoi stared at them and rolled her eyes, standing up and walking away holding her mango juice box

As she walked pass the other cafeteria tables with theyre different types of friend groups, as she passed by kyles table, she got pulled by the wrist making her sit down in the chair, before she can argue, she felt kyles hands wrapped around her shoulder making her speechless and furious at the same time..
