Chapter Twenty

So this may or may not be the last chapter. I'm debating, depending on this flows! Thank y'all so much for the support you've given this book!

I woke up the next day, remembering last night. My date with Luke had actually happened. He'd kissed me and everything. I went downstairs where Ms. Ames was watching TV. She saw me and smiled.

"So tell me all about it," she patted the seat next to her.

I sat down and laughed. "Well, we went out to eat, then we went to the park, and he kissed me."

"Oh, okay then," she laughed.

I blushed and hid my face.

"So you're happy with him?" She asked.

"Yeah, I mean, he's nice, always checking on me. I remember when my dad was in the hospital and he'd just died and he used Vince's phone to call and check on me. He's always been that guy who just kinda sporadically checks on you and makes you feel good," I said.

"He is a good guy. I have him fifth period," she said.

"I just hope I don't screw it up," I laughed nervously.

"You won't," she assured me.

I smiled and nodded. It was funny the way things worked out. I didn't expect to be with Luke. I never thought he'd like me. I also didn't think I'd have Cayla as a friend and Ms. Ames as my rock. I was so happy things happened the way they did.

So I'm thinking of ending it like this and making a sequel, OR I could continue an extra chapter or two on Luke and Abigail's relationship and everyone's reactions. Lemme know your thoughts below!
