I walked the streets of Ninjago city. I had decided to start living better. I wasn't the princess of Ninjago anymore. But also no longer the leader of The Sons of Garmadon, a biker gang. I wasn't the bad guy I used to be.
I had a small problem.The Overlord was in my head.
I was startled from my thoughts by someone calling my name. "Haumi?"
I looked up to see who it was and my heart went into 101st gear: Lloyd.
All I could say was "L-L-Llo-Lloyd?"
As if we had agreed, I ran towards him, at the same moment as he came towards me.We touched in the middle of the street and closed in an embrace.It felt warm to the touch, and for a moment I forgot about my problem. Lloyd was here. Nothing could go wrong now.But alas, I couldn't have been more wrong.
The Overlord spoke in my head. "Do it Harumi, kill him."No! I thought back."He will betray you eventually, you are better off without him."No! I thought again.
"Then I will." If the Overlord had had a face, he was grinning cruelly now.
I tried to block him, take him out.But in vain. The Overlord was too strong. No no no! I tried to stop him.
Unbeknownst to me, a knife slid into my hand and I, nay the Overlord, put it between Lloyd's shoulder blades.
"Harumi, I have to admit, I didn't realize until now how much I've missed you..." Lloyd started to finish his sentence, but then he felt the knife between his shoulders. "Uh... Harumi?"
In the meantime I had gathered enough strength to displace the Overlord for a few seconds. I dropped the knife.
"Overlord! You ******* **** ***! Leave me and Lloyd and my friends and everyone else alone, you huge dorky, idiotic bunch of ****! **** ***!" I cursed.
(A//N: You can make up your own mind about what's in the ****. I'll leave that to your imagination. Make something bad of it!)
"The Overlord?" Lloyd asked, shocked. "Rumi, that's a really big problem. But we're going to beat him. No matter how many times it takes you to stab a knife in my back."
I involuntarily laughed at how he worded it. And the nickname. Rumi.And just maybe to hide the fact that I was blushing.
"But" Kai asked, "Then how do we know we can trust her?"
I lowered my eyes.Then a blonde-haired, gray-eyed girl I'd never seen said, "Because love never lies."
We all walked to the monastery, where the ninjas lived.I found out that the 4 people I had never seen before were school friends, and their names were Percy, Annabeth, Nico and Will.They were also Greek demigods, half human, half Greek god. I had read enough mythology as a princess to know something about it.
One of the most shocking news was that Jay had been captured by the stone warriors, and they were here to get weapons and save him.
"I'm coming." I said."But," Lloyd began.'No. I insist I come. Otherwise you won't go either.'
He made a face that seemed to say, okay then.
-Timeskip to the armory of the monastery- (timskip music is on)
Lloyd had a dagger in his hand, tucking it behind my belt as he walked by.He took his silver Dao blade from the rack and hung it on his back, next to another golden sword.
Nya had her hands full with a trident and a spear, along with the nunchuks of lightning and an elemental sword, which I recognized as Jay's. "We should take Jay's weapons, too." She thought out loud.
Zane gave Will his bow and quiver (with arrows). He himself took his sword and the shurkins from the ice.
Cole whipped his scythe onto his back as he hung his sword from his belt and threw a dagger at Annabeth.
Kai was juggling katanas and clearly trying to get them back into the rack, but it didn't work very well. Finally, he managed to throw the katanas back into the rack and hang his elemental sword and the sword of fire on his back.
Nico and Percy had a practice battle with their swords.
Just then Skylor and PIXAL walked in.
"Hey guys!" Skylor yelled over the clatter of Percy and Nico's swords. 'Where are you going?!'
"We're going to rescue Jay. He has been captured by the stone warriors. I think you can come too.' Said Kai, who immediately tried to look serious.
Zane nodded. "I also think it's good if PIXAL comes along. And Skyor too, of course."
So that was decided.
We all walked to the Destiny's Bounty, climbed aboard and took off.
