I followed him through the city recognizing nothing. I did notice buildings never reached more than three stories. Streets weren't named either which I found weird. There were no cars only people walking as if it were a huge sidewalk. They were dressed in light clothing that flowed with the wind holding equipment. It was like a street fare that I had seen on T.V. Wait. Is that what its called? Or are they called the street markets?

I have no idea.

There weren't many houses either which was also odd.

The houses were built with only wood not even painted. They resembled cabins. A bunch of cabins and then a building. I wanted to ask questions but I didn't want to bother him anymore. I already talked his ear off. The houses and buildings ended but we kept walking forward on the black road. On either side of us, fresh green grass swayed with the wind. I wondered why we weren't stopping at one of the houses behind us. Just as my curiosity was getting the better of me, a cabin appeared in front of us.

It wasn't there at first. I'm positive it wasn't.

In front of us was a long road with grass and that's all. Not counting the tree's that seemed far off lining around us.

I gawked trying to figure out how I had missed it.

"Welcome to your new home."

I watched a while longer then walked up the 4 steps with him. The door flung open."MASTER!"

This boy was probably 11 or 12, no higher. He was slim, wore half a shirt (crop top?) and black jeans. His black hair fell around his face as he jumped towards Lemont. He had earrings lined up his left ear. He hugged Lemont his left ear hitting the sunlight and blinding my eyes a bit.

I squinted.

Master? Lemont is a slave owner?!

Wait wait wait!

I did time travel (good job self. Time travel back to slavery.)

"Wind. How many times have I told you not to do that? You know people can't see you. I look weird talking to you. Stop!" He chastised him and pulled his arms from around his neck.

"Sorry!" The boy said playfully laughing a bit rubbing his head "I forget." The boy appraised me.

"You have black friends too? Is she your girlfriend? Are you cheating on me?!"

"Kitchen is this way. I should let you know, were not alone right now. I'm not crazy, my partner is here." He sighed, "It's hard to explain. Did you make dinner?"

"Yes Master!"

"Don't call me master." He turned to me. "Sorry, I'm talking to him."

I closed my mouth noticing jaw dropping was a bit disrespectful."Okay."

So he's dating a guy? How old is he?

I entered the door and looked at the Table in the corner of the room close to anther opening. The stairs to my left made me nervous. The banister didn't look to stable. Another opening caught my eye and I notched that room also had a wooden table with chairs surrounding it. I followed Lemont and the boy through the opening straight ahead which was the kitchen. The table was golden brown with five chairs surrounding it.

So many tables.

A black fridge by the counter and a sink ...."No stove?" I asked confused.

"Hmm? It's in there." He pointed behind him into a door.

The boy went into the door, I watched him. Alright then.

"Yeah, that was Wind that opened the door."
