Nikolas came in with a dress for me, a little after Cain and I's shower. I knew Cain would fume in rage when he saw the dress, which encouraged me to wear it. Him not being able to say a thing, in front of Mia or the other guests of the ball, made me laugh.
Nikolas had helped me do my hair and makeup which took me by surprise. He's better than most women, including me myself. He decorated the hood of my eyes, with a black smokey eye, and for the rest of my face, he applied some blush, a little concealer to cover some of my old scars and highlighter on my cheekbone, the tip of my nose, a little over my eyebrow, and on top of my upper lip.
I took a glance at myself in the mirror. Before I met Cain I had cut my hair a little shorter. My eyelashes were done, and my lips were redder. Nikolas had curled my hair a little, making it bouncier than my dull straight hair.
A knock on my bedroom door occurred, making me slightly jump. "Who is it?" I asked out loud, as I was putting my earrings on.
"It's me," I heard a deep voice nearly whisper from the door. My eyes approximately popped out of their place.
I walked towards the door quickly, making sure he couldn't barge in like he usually does. "Yes?" I asked.
"Can I come in?" he asked me, and I rolled my eyes, clicking my tongue. I didn't want him seeing me yet.
He would either fuck me against the wall or spank me for wearing the dress I'm wearing. I had a problem with neither, but right now was not the time for either of the possible actions. "N-no I'm not ready yet," I lied through my teeth praying for the best.
"Violette, open the door."
Think quick!
"I'm naked!"
Really?
"Another reason for you to open the door. Come on, I just want to see you, little one," he begged from the other side of the door. I sighed, before locking it, in case he tried to come in.
"Cain, go down I'll be there in a minute," I said and heard him sigh before the sound of shoes walking, became fainter.
I glanced at myself in the mirror one last time, ere grabbing my purse. Putting my black heels on, that apparently Mia bought me, I walked out of my room looking for someone to see me. Without a soul in sight, I walked down the hallways towards the staircase.
Mia was standing waiting for me, but so that she was out of sight for the boys to see her. She squealed when she saw me. "Oh my god!" she breathed, as she took my hand making me twirl. "You look stunning!" she complimented me, and suddenly I felt like trash.
"You too, holy shit Mia!" She was wearing a white ball gown, her hair in a royal bun. Her makeup looked heaven-sent, and she overall looked like a queen. She clapped her hands together, before walking towards the railing to the staircase.
She walked down, in her queen era as she smiled all the way down. I couldn't see her face, but I knew she had a smile from ear to ear. I heard some of the boys clap while she was walking down, which caused a crease to form on my forehead.
How many men were waiting?
My dress was short and had a cut that exposed my inner thighs. My cleavage was evident, along with a part of my back, and shoulders. When I asked Nikolas if he wanted to die, he told me he knew about Cain and I.
At first, I thought Lucifer had spilled the beans until he said Gabriel told him. I was taken aback, and that's when I realized the boy Gabriel had been talking about was the ravishing, blonde-haired, blue-eyed, Nikolas Dupont.
I was happy for them, and he even told me Gabriel was waiting for me. It had been a few days since I last saw Gabriel, and I was excited to finally see him again. I took a deep breath and slowly walked down the stairs.
I looked through all the men, who were standing watching me walk down the stairs.
Please don't trip.
It looked like an entire army was waiting for me. Men dressed in black, and I could still find his green forest eyes, burning holes into my exposed skin.
I smirked to myself, knowing he had so much to say, but couldn't due to the full house. If anyone saw him with me tonight, they would suspect him for something, and until he breaks the loose strings off with Mia no one can think that way.
Axel stood ready for me, his arm extended for me to grab. Axel was one of the few friends I had come to make, despite the stuff we did my first night here. When he came back from the dress shopping I saw his black eye.
I didn't have to think very long before I knew Cain had marked his territory on me as if I was some prey, and he was the predator. I placed my hand in Axel's as he led me outside. We were the first couple to walk out, Nikolas and Gabriel behind us, and Mia and Cain walking, with all the guards behind them.
Many cars were parked outside the mansion, and one in particular was parked. The driver opened the door to the limousine and waited for me to climb in. I sat in the farthest seat from the door, Axel next to me.

Mia climbed in, sitting across from Axel, and Cain sat down, on the seat right across from mine. I looked into his eyes for a brief moment, seeing them almost burn in rage. I averted my gaze from his eyes and looked down at my exposed thigh.
"So, Nikolas, when were you going to tell me you work for Cain?" Gabriel asked, breaking the silence in the quiet car.
"Gabe shut it," I teased and watched as he and I quote - respectfully asked me to shut the fuck up.
It didn't take long before the car was filled with chatter. Everyone was either scoffing, blabbering, or laughing except for one person. Son of Eve, Cain. I could feel his eyes on me, and not once did I dare to look into his eyes.
Only God knows what will happen when we get home. "What about you Cain?" Mia asked, and I finally looked up from my lap staring into him. He couldn't give a smaller care in the world, as he gawked at me, his legs spread.
Not once did he answer Mia as his eyes scanned my grown body shamelessly. I felt a deep blush sit on my cheeks, as Mia nudged his arm. "What about me, Mia?" he asked, not breaking the intense stare.
"Would you prefer a white car and black suit or a black car with a white suit?" This conversation was so random. Cain parted his lips, but before he could say anything, we felt the car come to stop.
Cain was the first to get out, followed by the rest of us. When I got out, as the last one I saw Axel waiting for me at the entrance. I walked as fast as my feet would allow me to and interlocked our arms.
The doormen took my coat, revealing even more of my skin. I felt everyone's eyes on me, as all the wife's husbands were looking at me. I had no interest in any of them though. The only man I was interested in, was fuming with rage thinking of all the ways he could kill me right now.
Axel laughed when he saw how scared I was. I was really petrified. He had never looked at me with that much rage and desire in his eyes. I knew I was safe until we got home. I would just stay with Axel, running behind him like a puppy.
