"Nikolas just show me already!" I beamed as he led me out of the car blindfolded. It had been two weeks since we saved Cain from Italy and we were now back in the states. Cain had been out the entire morning and now Nikolas was taking me somewhere.

"You need to be patient baby girl," Nikolas scolded me as he helped me walk. It was summer and the hot breeze hit my skin, making me inhale the scent of flowers and just nature. I felt us switch from concrete to grass, as he helped me walk.

Nikolas walked us a little further before he stopped. He untied my blindfold and slowly took it off. I opened my eyes, seeing I was standing in front of a big house. I looked around and saw nothing but miles of grass and flowers.

If he wanted me to leave, he could've just said so. He didn't have to leave me here. I waited a little longer, sweating under the sun before a pair of arms hugged me from behind. I instantly knew who it was, due to the cologne.

"Hi," I smiled and earned a kiss on the cheek.

"Hi baby," he answered back as he turned me around cupping my cheeks. He planted his lips on top of mine and moved them in sync. I curled my fingers together behind his head pushing him closer to me.

Cain pulled back and rested his forehead on top of mine, causing a smile to crack on my lips. "You like the house?" he asked me, and I nodded my head pecking his nose.

"Good, because it's yours," he said and I pulled away from his frowning.

"What?" I beamed looking at the big house. Cain's mansion looked more like a gated high fashion prison, but this was more home. It had a garden the same size as a football field, and the house looked like a mini castle.

"Happy early birthday," he smiled, crossing his arms in front of his chest. I gawked at him, my jaw on the floor.

"Cain literally what!" I screamed running towards him. I jumped into his arms and interlocked my legs around his torso, attacking his face with kisses. He kissed me back, laughing at my reaction.

"I'm thrilled to hear you like it, little one," Cain said as he let me go on the ground again. I was looking at the house in awe, as I felt my eyes brim with tears.

"But I turn nineteen next week," I said, trying my hardest to sustain my tears.

"I know, but I see how you walk around in the mansion. You don't like it, so I bought you something more...you."

I smiled at him and looked at the huge house again. "I love it, Cain."

"Well let's get in then," he said, and I smiled, intertwining our fingers. The interior was gorgeous. The entire theme was very cottage type, and some of the floorings were white marble. The kitchen had an island made out of marble, and everything was made for me.

Cain and I walked around in the house, and I was in a haze as I was walking on my pink sky feeling my love for Cain blossom every time I looked at him. I walked down the stairs and out to the back yard seeing a pool.

"There is a fucking pool Cain!" I screamed excitedly. Cain came running down the stairs, his gun raised. I looked at him, and he quickly put it away rolling his eyes.

"Don't scream like that, holy shit! I thought you were getting kidnapped," he rolled his eyes as he spoke.

"I love this so much Cain, thank you so much," I thanked him again, kissing him as he embraced me in one of his bear hugs. His lips collided with my forehead before he cupped my cheeks again.

"This is not the only surprise though," he smirked and I rolled my eyes as he dragged us away from the beautiful house. We walked together towards one of Cain's cars before he opened the door for me.

Nausea hit me like a truck, and suddenly the urge to vomit increased. I quickly opened the car door, before Cain could drive and emptied my entire stomach on the sidewalk. I took a bottle of water from the door and took a swig before spitting it out.

I sat back in the car and saw Cain gawking at me as pale as a ghost. "What?" I asked him, slightly giggling at his features. I never thought I'd see someone who'd taken lives in cold blood look so scared as he did right now.

"Have you been taking your pills?" he asked me, and I frowned. I hadn't taken my birth control, in God knows how long.

"Yes," I lied through my teeth.

His eyes narrowed at me. "Violette-"

"Okay fine, no I haven't! But I don't like taking them, they make me cranky and annoyed and they're just overall annoying. Why can't you take them?" I sneered and watched his face become soft all over again.

"It's okay baby, I'm not mad. You could've told me before I came inside of you multiple times last night but sure," he smiled and I felt my face enter a deep blush.

"Why did you ask? You don't think I'm pregnant right," I laughed and watched him shrug his shoulders.

"Would you be upset if you got pregnant?" So we're having the talk I see.

"No of course not!" I spoke truthfully. "I mean, I'm still young, but we aren't struggling. I wouldn't be upset about bringing a child into the world, knowing it would be loved."

The sides of his lips arched upward while he nodded his head. The sun was setting and the sky was slowly changing colors. Music was playing on the radio as Cain sped up a little. He parked the car and helped me get out of the car before walking us down a long path.

"Where are we going?" I asked him, as he walked me through a gate.

"It's a surprise," he whispered in my ear. He walked us a little further until the Ferris wheel came into sight. I squealed and kissed Cain as I walked us faster towards the ride. No one else was in the amusement park, other than Cain and I.

"This is literally everything I ever could've asked for Cain thank you," I said, trying my hardest not to sob in happiness. He smiled as he walked us over to one of the boots. There was one worker waiting for us to enter before he started the ride.

I looked at the city in awe as I felt Cain look at me. The ride ended quicker than I wanted it to, and Cain helped me get out of the booth before he got out too. I walked expecting Cain to catch up behind me as he always does.

"When we got home, I'm telling this to Axel and making him jealous. Also Nikolas and I will paint our nails and-" I stopped babbling when I saw I was talking to myself. "Cain?" I asked as I turned around.

A gasp left my lips when I saw him perched on one knee, a velvet box in his hand. A beautiful diamond ring was lying in the box, and my eyes caught Cain's, a nervous look painted all over his beautiful face.

He chuckles. "Jesus Christ, lady you really brought me to my knees, huh?" he said and I laughed through the happy tears falling down my cheeks. "I love you so much, Violette. So much I don't know where I end and you begin, because to me, you're my soul, my mind, my thoughts, you're my everything. You walk around with my heart in your pocket, baby, and I don't ever want it back. Without you I'm simply a killer. You're my humanity and I've come to realize I can't quite live without you, so please, don't make me. Will you marry me?"

I dropped to my knees in front of him, as tears were running down my cheeks. I cupped his cheeks, and smashed my lips into his, opening my mouth for him to enter his tongue. Pulling back, I let more tears stain my cheeks and dress.

"I wouldn't dream of saying no," I smiled while crying. He took my hand and slid the ring on my finger, before kissing me.

"I love you," he whispered, pulling away from me.

"I love you more," I ushered back to him, just hugging him. I wanted to stay in his arms forever. I was so scared of falling in love, but now I realized no matter what it'll always be him, whether I like it or not.

I finally found peace.
