"Are you ready to go, sweetheart?" Henry asks, coming into their bedroom in Buckingham Palace. Technically, it is Henry's bedroom but there is so much of Alex's stuff laying around from previous visits: clothes he's forgotten, sweaters Henry has kept, a friendship bracelet that Alex had made him before they went to see Taylor Swift in London (Henry's idea), the smell of Alex on his sheets that never seem to go away, that Henry thinks of it as their, not his, bedroom.
"Yup! Just adding some finishing touches. How do I look?" Alex asks, spinning around, striking a ridiculous pose. Henry can't help but laugh.
"You look amazing, is that suit new?" Henry asks, adjusting Alex's tie. He'll find any reason to touch Alex, and sometimes the opportunity presents itself.
