At some point, they pull away from each other and make their way out of the museum, into the car, and back to the Palace where the familiar faces at dinner are all there waiting for the two grooms-to-be.

"Mom," Alex says running to his parents on the porch, "I'm engaged! I'm getting married!" He shows off his ring to them, like a kid who's just received the best Christmas gift. He turns to his Dad next. "Dad, you definitely had some part to play in this. How could you keep this from me? When did he ask you?"

It's his Dad's turn to speak now. "It wasn't easy
Son, trust me. But I would have never forgave myself if I spoiled it." Oscar says. He looks at Henry, "It doesn't matter when he asked me," he says with a wink, "there's no one else in the world who gets you smiling like he does. Your whole face lights up every time you look at him.
