June and Henry's bond is unbelievable. They fight like actual siblings and have secret inside jokes that annoy Alex, which is partly why June loves them. They always think of him when planning anything family related. Every year, Oscar always asks if Henry will be joining Alex and June at the lake house and it's always yes and Oscar is always happy to see him. And then, obviously, there's Alex. The man of Henry's dreams. His first New Year's kiss. The guy who, when Henry called one late evening doubting his worth, booked a flight to him and spent all night holding him and telling him how good he is and everything he's done and how many people he's helped. Closeted kids, sick kids, him. The only person Henry wants to spend forever with.
Once dinner wraps up and everyone says their goodbyes, Alex turns to Henry.
"Tonight was fantastic, babe. Thank you for all of it. Are you ready to go back to the palace?" He asks, holding Henry's hand as they wait for a service car.
