Days passed, and that was the last day Pablo had seen Estella.
Oddly enough, Pedri hadn't mentioned his sister once.
"Is there a problem?"
Pablo smiled at his older sister, who came in with her nephew in her arms.
"Pabitto!"
"Run!"
Pablo hugged his nephew who ran to him, then hugged her and kissed her cheek.
"About the girl?"
Pablo nodded slowly.
"I haven't heard from him."
"Let's ask Pep!"
"No, we can't ask beautiful Pepi."
"From where?"
"Forget it okay?"
He kissed her hair.
"I last saw him when she found Marls."
"When you find Marls?"
"Yeah, I lost it at the celebration."
Pablo spoke while playing with his nephew's hair.
"Are you lost my daughter, Pablo Gavira!?"
He understood what Aurora was saying as he shouted.
"Actually, I..."
"I will kill you!"
"No you can't, with the Marls here."
"Girl, go upstairs and play with your toys."
The room clung to her as Marls hugged her uncle tightly.
Gavi met Aurora's disapproving gaze as he kissed her cheek.
"Estella found him. Where did she find you?"
"I was looking for you, when I bumped into her, she asked if I was okay and then who I was with."
"And you said Pabitto."
Aurora spoke with a smile.
"She didn't look like she knew you."
Gavi laughed.
"She's might be confused because you called him Pabitto."
"I wish she'd understood."
Gavi frowned as Marls spoke quietly.
"Why did you say so?"
"I said something wrong, I shouldn't have told het that."
"What did you say baby?"
"I told her you was very much in love with someone, I'm sorry."
Gavi was taken aback.
Is that why he was so still when Estella last saw him?
It's ridiculous, Pablo thought.
After all, she wasn't in love with him.
"It's okay baby, you didn't do anything wrong. But don't tell anyone else about this, okay?"
Marls nodded and closed her eyes as she rested her head on his uncle's chest.
