We snuck back to the fuse box. Audrey put it in. "Lights are back on. Time to get that Gent Pipe." Audrey said.
"Lets go." I said. We took the path back to the gate and went through the door. We went through the hallway and saw the crucified, ink person with the Gent Pipe in his chest. I grabbed the thing and yanked it out. "At least now we can defend ourselves." I said. I gave it to her.
"What about you?" She asked.
"I'll be fine. I can count on you to save my life if needed, can't I?" I asked. She smiled and nodded. Then she put a kiss on my cheek. "Thanks?" I said. We left the room and went back down the hall and through the door. An ink man ran at us with a Gent Pipe of his own. Audrey swung at him three times and knocked him down. "Hell yeah, Audrey!" I cheered. "Get up, boy! Round 2!" I said to the ink man.
"Uhh...i think i killed him." She said.
"Oh." I went to his corpse. "At least now I got one too." I took his pipe. Two more ink people ran at us. We whacked them with our pipes. We then broke the door lock and walked in. I pulled a lever and we had to crawl under a board to get in a room. We stepped in the inky room. Audrey let out a groan. "Audrey? Are you okay?" I asked. She leaned up against a wall. "Take it easy." I said. Her hands started shaking and touched her head with two fingers. "I feel sick..." she mumbled.
"Hey, you're okay." I said. She shook her head. "Okay, I'm better now." She said.
"You sure?" I asked.
"Yeah. Must have been a stomach bug. Or the ink." She said. We continued through the area to a door. A Searcher, one of those things that crawl, was staring at a wall. We opened the door. It said on the wall, "you don't have to kill me". Audrey's right hand lit up and a symbol glowed on the back of it. "What the hell?" I asked. She went to the Searcher and grabbed it with her right hand. It glowed yellow and disappeared. "What did you do to it?" I asked.
"I banished it back to the puddles." Audrey said.
"Thats kind of awesome. The power." I said.
"Lets keep going." She said. We kept moving down a hall a door lock. We got to the entrance of Animation Alley. The moment we went to the door to it, another ink monster jumped out of a locker. But this one had a fishing rod for a neck. We went to work and started swinging at the guy. We eventually retreated and locked it on his way back in. "Thats what i thought." I said with a smirk. We kept moving and saw a huge hole in the floor in front of the elevator door. "Thats a leap of faith we definitely won't make." Audrey said.
"I could throw you across, then i can find another way to get over." I told her as a joke.
"Nope. Lets find a way to cross the abyss."
And so we did. We moved a cart away from a small door. I rolled under and saw a lever. I pulled it and then rolled back under. "What did I miss?"
"Animation Alley is open." She said. We saw two ink people. They ran at us. We started swinging at them and killed them. There was a third one. "Banish her." I said. Audrey went to the person and banished them. We saw a door to the main studio. There was a vent that we could break through. We went through the vent and into the room. There was a lever and a note. Audrey took the note. "'We're in the final days here. I can tell. People are packing things into boxes. Tools are going missing. You can smell the panic in the air around the studio. But us Gent boys, we're just watching from the shadows. We lock the doors and keep our research going. Mister Gray already gave us a little wink. All is well. When one ship sinks, another one leaves the doc.'" She read. She stopped when i pulled the lever. "Uhh... continue, please." I chuckled.
"'I just need to keep my Ink Machine safe in the chaos. Its the key to so many discoveries.' Wrote by Thomas Connor." She finished.
"Interesting. So Gent built the machine. But why? Was it for Joey?" I asked.
"I'm gonna assume yes. And its probably why Alice exists." Audrey said. We went back through the vent and through the main studio door. We crouched under a board and saw another door. Behind it was...Bendy? We went through the door. We walked to the little devil himself. "Bendy?" Audrey asked. Bendy grabbed the toy train he had. "You're real?"
"This is... incredible!" I said. We walked towards the guy. He stepped back. "Hey. Its okay. We won't hurt you." I said. Audrey got to his level and held her left hand out. Bendy smiled and grabbed it. "See? We're your friends." Audrey gave Bendy a smile. Then her hand did that banish thing again. Bendy let go and jumped back. "Oh no. Bendy, she didn't mean to." I said. He frowned at us. Bendy ran away. "I'm so so sorry!" She yelled as he ran."Dammit, Audrey. Whats happening to you?" She asked herself. "Whats happening to us?" She said.
"We will get through this. And maybe we can find Bendy again." I said to her.We went through and saw a door that said don't knock. Audrey knocked on it. "Who's out there? Is that you, Phil?" An ink man opened the window we knocked on. "I'm not opening the door until you bring me my pictures. I want them back." He closed it.
"Well, lets continue through Animation Alley." I said. We busted open a vent continued through it. "Hopefully we can find pictures." Audrey said. We got to the end and saw a locked door and Audrey broke it open. The moment we walked in the hall, the lights went out. "The Dark Puddles awaken."
"Who was that?" Audrey asked.
"Uhh, door? Open please." I said as i kept trying to open it. It finally got unjammed and opened. We broke another locked door. "A voice, a soul. The ink speaks to me. It whispers your secrets." We heard the voice say as we walked through a hallway. We ignored it and kept moving, though i bet Audrey was scared, as I was too. "Who are you?" It asked. "Tell me your sweet names, that I may devour them." We got to a flight of stairs and walked down them. We kept moving down the hall. We saw a locked door and a lever. "I'll get the door. Keep watch." I said. She nodded. I grabbed the lever and tried pulling it. "Y/n, hurry!" Audrey said. I looked over and saw the silhouette of something big with horns. I kept trying to pull the lever. "Its getting closer!" She exclaimed. I finally got the door open and grabbed Audrey's wrist. We ran into the room and slammed the door on his hand as he tried reaching in. He gave up and we fully closed the door shut. He started growling. "Do you think... that THAT was The Ink Demon?" I asked Audrey.
"Yeah. Definitely. He's not a monster like the Pipers, or an ink person." Audrey answered.
