We got to the bottom and went around a hallway. "I believe theres something special in all of us. Especially you, Audrey." We looked up and saw a man on the balcony with a lantern. "Who are you?" Audrey asked.
"Don't you know me? Take a good look." He said. We both took a look and figured it out quickly. "Joey Drew?" I asked.
"In the flesh. Or, so to speak. Come on up. Theres something i need to show you." He said. We went over to the ladder and climbed up. We went to Joey Drew. "Lets get going. But mind your step. This old place is full of surprises. I should know. I've been here a long time." He said.
"Mr Drew?"
"Joey, please, Y/n."
"Okay, how do you know our names?" I asked.
"I know a lot about you. You and her are together." He said. We looked at each other and smiled. "Okay. Yeah, you're right so far." I said.
"Joey, what is this place?" Audrey asked. "This studio. These... monsters. Am i dreaming?" She asked.
"Its a cycle, Audrey. An ink-stained nightmare forever stuck on repeat." Joey began. We started walking. "Just a pencil and a dream, and a little help from the Gent Corporation, it came into being." He said. We followed him into a hallway. "From what i get, it exists in parallel with the outside world. But completely removed from the march of time. And like a record, played over and over again. Its began to crumble, wear down. This studio is a monument of choosing the wrong road." He told us. We got to a door and he stopped us. "Now whether it was built for revenge, or regret. I don't know. Thats my riddle to solve." He turned and opened the door. "The truth is, Y/n and Audrey, someone out there is messing with whats in here. Bad things have begun to emerge from the puddles. Wretched creatures that never came to my pen. The worst ones call themselves Keepers. Dangerous, deadly folks." He told us about the Keepers and i got the idea that they might have been why the elevator stopped. "They've taken over the old Gent Workshop, just beyond the sewers, trying to bring what they call order to this world. Freezing the cycle! Changing the script!" He said. "Whatever answers you're looking for you'll find them there." He said.
"Before we continue, can we take a look around real quick?" Audrey asked.
"Go ahead. Take whats desired." He said. Audrey went to the shelf above the sink and grabbed a battery. I checked the chest next to us and saw three batteries. I took them all. We went to Joey. "We're all good, Joey." I said.
"Look, above all. Never forget... you two are here for a reason. Theres always a reason. Even if you don't understand it." He said.
"You made this world, right? Why can't you fix it?" Audrey asked him.
"Because I'm not the man." He grabbed both of our hands and put them together. Then he let go. "I'm just the memory in the cycle." He leaned back and vanished into the door. We opened it and saw the tombstone of Joey Drew. "So he's a ghost..." Audrey said.
"Maybe, but damn, he has an great mustache!" I said. She just laughed at my comment to him. We continued through the door in the room. From there was a room that led to another hallway. We saw Bendy again. He ran off. "Where is he going? Is he leading us somewhere?" I questioned.
We ran to the end and saw a giant door, controlled by a lever, that was closed. "How does Bendy do that?" I asked as Audrey pulled the lever, making the door open. "No idea. But lets go after him." Audrey said. We went to a ladder and climbed down. Through the door was another ladder back up. From there was a hallway. At the end was an area that had a message in ink, reading, "Lord Amok rules". We went in the area and saw a pool of ink. I slipped and fell in. The ink was just like water. And it was disgusting. Audrey pulled me out. "Are you okay?" She asked as i was coughing.
"Yeah. I'm okay. Thanks." I said. Audrey saw a power lever. She put her Gent Pipe in and pulled it down. A door opened to a security override. I went in and pulled the lever. Then the ink drained. "It worked!"
"Actually, it was easier. I just pushed that button." She said and pointed to a busted open door. Then three Lost Ones ran at us with...mohawk hair styles? What the hell? We went through where they came from and there was an open door. "So thats what i did." I said.
"Are we just gonna gloss over that, then? The Lord Amok and the mohawk Lost Ones?" Audrey asked as we walked in the door.
"No, no way. We gotta talk about it. Who is Amok? Did he give the Lost Ones their mohawks?" I asked.
"Why would he?" Audrey asked. Then we pulled a lever and it opened a door to three Lost Ones. Two had mohawks, and the one in the middle was in a throne and had a crown-like head style. Above him said "Amok" so i guess this was the so called Lord Amok. "Behold!" He said. "There are strangers upon us. Kill them. Kill them now!" The mohawk guys attacked us. We kicked their skinny, mohawk headed asses. Then, Lord Amok ran at us. He took out my legs and held me down. Audrey grabbed his hand and took his weapon. She held Amok at a wall and struck him down. Then two more of the Lost Ones that followed Amok ran out. "Hail the New Amok!" They said.
"I think they mean you." I said as I got up and wiped myself off. Audrey looked at them as they stood, praising her. Audrey smirked and played along. "Okay, followers. First of all, know that he is with me." She pointed at me. "Everything he says also goes." The Amok Followers nodded. "Now, first order of business... keep those mohawks. I really like them." She said. We went into Amok's hallway. First we saw was another follower. "Hail Amok!" He said.
"Yes, my follower. This guy here? He's with me." She grabbed my hand. "Anything he says goes the same say anything i say goes. Spread the word." She said. The follower nodded and ran off. We got to a desk with a bunch of slug tokens and a few snacks. We looted the former Amok's desk and we took a few of his snacks. We had to keep our health up. After we were both good on health and we took all the slugs, i opened a locker. There was five batteries. "Holy crap! We're fricking rolling in Amok's stuff!" I said as I took them.
"Don't you mean 'rolling in my stuff' since I'm the New Amok?" Audrey asked.
"Yes, of course i do." I said. I saw a lever for a Gent security shaft and pulled it. A door opened. We left Former Amok's room. "Followers." Audrey said to the two at the throne. "Make sure the word is spread." She said. The nodded.
