I gave my art teacher my painting just praying she wouldn't notice how much I rushed to get it ready in time, I didn't want my teacher to think I didn't take school seriously because I did.

I smiled In relief.

' you really think so? '

' I know so, if you continue like this you'll go out this year with an A in art '

Hearing those words made me so happy that I started jumping in excitement, I had worked so hard on this ever since Thursday just to get it perfect and it paid off!

Now I could live in peace for just a little time, I still had good grades.

The deal of me going to this school was that I had perfect grades else my parents and my deal would be done, so I just tried my best to get the best grades possible. If that was an C that was good but if it was an A that was even better, as long as I didn't have grades under C it was good. I wouldn't have to worry then, although if I was under a C i would have to worry.

Later as I sat in math class which was my last class of the day, I was just not feeling like being there.

I was annoyed at everyone, this day had been shit the only good thing today had been when I handed in my project. The rest of the day well it was hectic, stressful and annoying, everyone was on me asking all sort of questions about Lewis etc and I didn't feel like talking about it.

I usually answered everyone although it annoyed me but today I wasn't feeling it, I was already stressing enough. They just didn't know when to stop, they especially didn't know when was not the time.

I was looking out the window not paying any attention to what the teacher was saying when I felt my phone vibrate, I checked and saw that Lewis had sent me a message and somehow it made me smile.

Lewis: ' hey angel, just wanted to check when you end school 🫶🏻 '

I somehow blushed when I read that but quickly got my act together and answered him.

Anastasia: ' I end in like 10 minutes but I'm gonna wait on Ashley who ends in 15 minutes to say goodbye before I start walking home 🫶🏻 '

He liked my message and I quickly put my phone away as I heard the teacher speak again.

Just as I sat there all done with everything for today I heard the bell ring and everyone stood up from their seats, I was about to leave to wait for Ashley in the hallways my math teacher wanted to speak to me for a minute so I rolled my eyes before going back to talk with my math teacher. Although it didn't take long I think i got out around the same time Ashley did so it was okay, we both left our books and all that in our lockers and she asked me if I wanted to hang out with her today but I just told her I couldn't because I had to see my mother. That was a lie of course but she didn't have to know that, plus I didn't wanna tell her about Lewis being at my apartment because she would just freak out.

However as we walked towards the main entrance of the school to exit we heard people go crazy over something, I didn't think much about it.

Honestly I was just happy that it wasn't me they were on about,

However as we got outside to where everyone was I saw that everyone stood in a circle and I stopped for a second looking very confused at what everyone was doing. So did Ashley as well before we looked at each other before looking at all of the people again confused.

' there she is! ' a girl from my English class said.

I looked behind me but I saw no one, so I again looked very confused. Then I saw someone come out of the circle of people, it was Lewis!

Fuck why was he here? Did he try to make my life a living hell, or what did he try to do. As he walked up to me I was still in shock of what the fuck he was doing here.

He got to me and he surprised not only me but everyone else when he kissed me in front of everyone, as he pulled away he stood an inch from my face he whispered ' hey mi amor, I missed you '

I who was still in shock stood there absolutely paralyzed, I felt his hand reach mine and I didn't even try to push him away.

' hi you must be Ashley, I'm Lewis Anastasia's boyfriend nice to meet you ' he said smiling.

Ashley stood there in shock as she then snapped out of it.

' yeah I am, I know who you are it's so nice to meet such a formula one legend like you '

Lewis laughed.

' I've barely been in formula one for a couple of years, but thanks '

' would you like to join us for ice cream Ashley?, It's my treat I would love to get to know the best friend of my amazing girlfriend ' Lewis asked.

Ashley stood in shock again.

' yeah, yeah! I would love to ' she answered back.

' great, can you wait by the car I need to speak to Anastasia for a moment '

' yeah sure!, I'll see you in the car '

I looked at Lewis annoyed and he smiled with that cute smile he had, I didn't want him to come here to pick me up especially asking Ashley if she wanted to go out for ice cream.

' you know a heads up about you coming here would've been nice, I thought we agreed yesterday you wouldn't pick me up from school '

' sorry, I really wanted to surprise you plus i wanted to spend time with you and get to know your friends '

' you know we're only fake dating right? '

' yeah I know but still '

I just laughed.

' fine!, we'll go for ice cream Ashley is your biggest fan anyway '

He smiled as he took my hand and we walked through all of the people and as we got to the car he opened my car door for me and I smiled at him. Maybe he wasn't that bad after all, just a little but not a lot.
