Unexpected love | Lewis Hamilton

I sat in the Red Bull hospitality with kelly watching qualifying from there, Lewis had tried to reach me a million times before qualifying started but I just turned my phone off.

I didn't feel like taking to him nor his little girl friend or sorry sorry ' fiancé ' as she was so persistent on everyone saying.

As qualifying went on Lewis seemed to struggle a lot with focusing, Max well he basically flew around the track, Valtteri did as well and so did Daniel so why didn't Lewis do that too?? However I didn't have time to care because I got a message in the middle of qualifying from my brother which did so I had to leave immediately so Kelly took Ari while I rushed from the paddock to meet my brother.

Daniel pov:

I got out of the car and I saw Kelly & Ariana but I didn't see Anastasia anywhere.

I figured she was somewhere and I was gonna ask Kelly when I'd gotten myself ready, I took a quick shower after qualifying and put on some new clothes as I then went to Kelly, Max and Ari who were all sitting outside the Red Bull hospitality in the paddock.

' hey Danny, you did great ' Kelly said smiling at me gently as she held Ari.

' thanks Kelly, where is Anastasia? ' I asked.

' I don't know, she got some text on her phone and she seemed stressed after reading it, then she just asked me if I could take Ari for the day until Lewis could have her and left in such a rush. She didn't even take her other stuff with her '

I suddenly got some bad feeling about it all, she would never leave her stuff nor Ari for that matter, especially not that quickly and easily.

I tried calling her several times but I couldn't get an answer, I looked at her location and saw she was at the closest hospital to here so I told Kelly and Max. Kelly asked if I could pass by Mercedes and give Ari to Lewis which I happily agreed to do, she was my goddaughter after all. Kelly handed me Ari as I then took Ari's stroller who had all of her stuff in it that Anastasia had brought to the paddock today and then went towards the Mercedes garage holding Ari while I pushed the stroller with my other hand. I walked past people like Lando, Carlos and Charles on the way and they all said hi and stopped to talk to me but I just rushed by them all telling them I had to do something quickly and I would talk to them tomorrow because right now my only focus was on Anastasia and getting to where she was at the moment to see so she was okay. As I then got to the Mercedes garage Lewis stood there talking with his race engineer Bono and I went up to them both with Ari.

' hi Lewis ' I said.

' oh hi Danny, hi my little Princess ' he said to Ari

I smiled as I handed Ari to Lewis who was more than happy to see his daughter again, Ariana was also very happy to see her father again.

' I have to go and find Anastasia and I have to do that now, she told Kelly to hand Ari to you when you were done so Ari will stay with you tonight and probably tomorrow i don't know '

Lewis gave me a look with concern.

' is something wrong with Anastasia?? ' he said with a glint of worry in his voice and eyes.

' I don't know Lewis ' I said as I waved good bye to them and went to my car and drove off the fastest as I could.

As I got to the hospital she was at according to her location on her phone I saw her there, sitting there with blood shot red eyes and with her hands in her hair. I ran up to her and the moment she saw me she broke down, crying harder than she'd ever done before.

She told me about all what had happened and I sat there In shock hugging her as she cried.

The next day..

I arrived with Anastasia at the track with everything that happened yesterday still in my mind, she hadn't eaten nor slept anything yesterday but still insisted on coming with me to see Ari who was with Lewis in the Mercedes garage.

She had sunglasses on to hide her swollen eyes who were bright red, she also didn't bother dressing up as she loved to do before. She just simply put on a hoodie and a pair of cargo pants before we left and put on a pair of sneakers then left. I didn't have anything against how she dressed etc, the thing was that she usually loved dressing up to go to the paddock but now she didn't even want to do that. She wasn't even in a mood to pretend to be happy as she used to when she was sad, this time she was just so numb and so lifeless in the way she acted. I know the thing that happened wasn't easy on her but this scared me a little bit, seeing her like that knowing I couldn't do anything to help her. Knowing that she was suffering so bad and I couldn't do anything about it was the thing killing me, not the fact she was like she was it was the fact I couldn't help her in any way.

As we got in the paddock Lando greeted me while Anastasia was busy talking in phone with someone and Lando was reluctant but then he spoke.

' what's wrong with Anastasia?? '

' I can't tell you but nothing special ' I replied.

' she yelled at me when I asked her what had happened with her, it isn't nothing Daniel '

I told him again that I couldn't tell him and then Anastasia came and we went towards the Mercedes garage to say hello to Ari before Lewis & I had a lot of meetings and stuff for the race.

I tried making some small talk with Anastasia on the way but she was completely numb and lifeless so I just let her be. She didn't want to talk so I wasn't trying to force her to do anything she didn't want to do. As we got to the Mercedes garage Lewis was sitting there with Ari on his lap and Toto, Bono & Angela besides him playing with Ari. When Ari saw her mother she started screaming ' mommy!! ', ' mommy! ' and for the first time today I saw Anastasia somewhat a small smile, not a very big one but a quite small one that you could see. She ran up to take Ari in her arms and I smiled at her, she still didn't speak to pretty much anyone but she for sure spoke quite a lot to Ari. Lewis also smiled when he saw Ari and Anastasia together.

Although soon enough me and Anastasia left and she went back to her normal self that she'd been ever since yesterday, I sighed and just let her go and think about it on her own.
