I was walking the streets of Paris when I heard someone yell my name, I turned to see mick.

' hey Anastasia! ' mick said smiling.

' hey mick, what are you doing here?? ' I asked.

' I'm just on vacation before the upcoming race weekend '

He looked at my belly with a surprised look.

' it seems like congratulations are in place for you right now, is that why you stopped coming to races? '

I panicked as I realized he couldn't know anything about this.

' thanks mick but I really gotta go, I'm so sorry '

' no worries maybe we can go for lunch before I leave?? '

' I'm sorry I don't think that's a good idea, bye mick! '

Before he could respond again I quickly went away from there. I felt bad but then again no one could know anything, at least not until Lewis would speak to me again.

I just went home and when I got home to my surprise Charlotte and Kelly were both there and the second I walked in they both ran to hug me, I stood surprised for a moment but I hugged them back and after when I saw max had also came and with max stood Daniel who smiled at me and I realized that they'd made this surprise for me. That's why Daniel told me to go out for a walk for a while, so they could be here when I got back and surprise me. I wasn't gonna lie I was happy over this surprise, mostly because I needed them more than ever right now and the fact they were here now made everything so much better.

' what's bothering you? ' kelly asked as we girls sat outside by the pool while max, Daniel and my brother sat inside talking.

I sighed as I looked at them.

' I ran into mick today and he noticed my belly and he said congratulations, asked me out to lunch so we could catch up but I brushed him off because I was scared '

' oh love ' Charlotte said as she pulled me in for a hug.

' I don't know he was so kind and I just brushed him off '

' well maybe go to lunch and tell him about everything, I mean you two have spoken a lot over text recently and you seem to be happy when you text him, for the first time since Lewis your actually happy and you shouldn't let one thing destroy your happiness again '

' maybe your right, I like mick and I think I will go out to lunch with him tomorrow! ' I said smiling as I texted mick that I was down for lunch tomorrow.

At the restaurant the next day...

I walked in the restaurant and the server led me to the table mick had reserved for us today, as I sat down I looked around and it was actually one of my favorite restaurants in Paris.

However I went on my phone for a while and checked Instagram and etc then after a bit mick arrived and he sat down.

' Hey sorry I'm late, Esteban needed some help so I got a little late hope you didn't wait for too long for me '

' it's fine don't worry ' I said smiling at him.

We talked some as we then got the menu and we both ordered what we wanted and then we talked about everything and anything, talking to mick was so easy for me. He wasn't as complicated and with him I didn't have to feel that pain I felt every time I was with Lewis, the pain of broken hearts and two people who I loved him but he didn't love me anymore. But with mick I just felt loved and in a way I didn't feel with Lewis, well in one way I'd felt before this whole mess started.

' so I just have to ask a thing, if that's okay with you ' mick said.

I already knew what he was gonna ask and I wasn't gonna lie to him anymore.

' mhm ' I said as I sipped my Coca Cola.

' who's the father of your baby? '

I looked at him and I sighed as I spoke.

' promise you won't tell anyone, not even Esteban or your family '

' I promise, you know you can trust me '

' Lewis is the father '

He looked at me shocked.

' does Lewis know? '

' nope, he won't speak to me or speak about me with anyone not even Daniel or max so that's his fault '

He for a moment was speechless just looking at me, I mean I could understand why if I was him I would probably also be speechless. I was not expecting him to be completely calm because I wouldn't be either.

' listen mick, if this comes in the way of whatever we have started say that to me now because now when I'll get a daughter I have to be more responsible and I have to grow up '

' no, no I want to still continue on with our thing we have and now I understand why you've been so weird about meeting up '

I smiled.

' as a matter of fact I was gonna ask you this and I hope you'll say yes, Anastasia Katherine Horner will you be my girlfriend? '

' yes mick, yes I will! ' I said as I stood up and kissed him.

We sat down again and then we ate our food as we then went to the park nearby and took a walk together, after all of that he dropped me off at my apartment and we said our goodbyes and as he was leaving for a race the next day and we wouldn't see each other until I moved to Monaco in a month.

The minute I got inside Kelly, Charlotte, Max, Daniel sat there waiting for me and the minute they saw me they started asking what happened and how it was and when I told them we got together they all jumped up and started jumping around my living room screaming, I just stood there laughing at them.
