Rose house was looking as serene as always.
At least it did for a few minutes.
Before Lindey started her rubble of course.

I lay in bed that morning as I dreaded waking to the bustle of the day.
I had nothing planned and mum had called thrice already.
I guess that is what I get for attending a College so close to home.

I heard a sudden bang and turned to see what had happened.
The door slid open.
Brenda and Lindy barged in.

Amy was in bed as usual still fast asleep at 8pm on a perfect weekend.
The Queen.

All the beds in this room were so big.
You would think those were beds for two.
Boy! Were they comfortable.

My phone rang almost immediately and guess who? It was mum.
I picked up the phone almost the same time Brenda let out a shriek.
I dropped it in fright and turned around and oh!

There she was sprawled on the floor with her hands up on the air and her clothes almost off.
I rushed to call the ambulance.

Lindey panicked as she didn't know what to do.
She almost fainted.
Amy jolted awake and sat up with the speed of light.
She thought we were being robbed.

In a few minutes the ambulance had arrived and Brenda was wheeled out of Rose house.
Every one of us was wondering what had happened.
My heart couldn't remain silent.

Amy the crybaby kept sobbing and guess who had to constantly console her.
Me!
I put my fear aside and tried to calm her down the best I could.

Lindey just couldn't take it.
She started nibbling on nuts and pacing up and down.
Her eating disorder had been triggered.
I would never had known it was possible to overeat when worried of not for her.

I handed tissues to Amy and I tried to make Lindey calm down.I held her hand tightly as we kept Amy between us.
Crunch-Sob-Crunch-Sob.
More chaos.

In an hour Mrs.Redding had arrived and wanted to see her daughter.
Immediately she arrived Amy started to cry harder.
The sight of her made her hysterical the more.

"She-he is not here ma'am",
We all said in unison.

She ran out the hall and banged the door shouting behind her,
"Thanks girls".
As she left I kept wondering what was wrong. Brenda was not sick.
We only had a party days ago at the Sapphire house with Lily and her friends.

Lily was the party Queen in Raven College.
I was not surprised considering she was the daughter of principal Anne.
She could literally do whatever she wanted and get pardoned for it.
Spoiled maybe but she was very clever.

Not so long after Principal Anne showed up at the Rose house.
Upon hearing about the arrival of Mrs.Redding, she barged out and headed towards to hospital.

No parties were organized that evening as news had reached everywhere about Brenda.

Mum called every few minutes to check if the situation had been resolved.
She was just as worried.
She wanted to pick me up for a family dinner but I guess she rescheduled.

In the morning we woke up to a knock on the door. Brenda had returned with her mum.
She had an allergic reaction to peanut butter.
Her face looked pretty swollen.

We all nodded knowingly as Mrs.Redding schooled us about the allergy.
Obviously the peanut butter cookies we ate nights ago at the party was the trigger.
She kept as many as she could to munch on later.

She looked a dreadful sight as she lay in her bed.

We were all relieved.
Amy shed tears of joy as Mrs.Redding left. Trust Amy to be the drama Queen.
Haha!

"Ame",I called out exasperated.
"It's okay".
She nodded.

Lily and a few friends came over to see her that morning.
They were so sorry but I guess nobody knew.

A few hours to English Class.
It finally dawned on me.
'Cuteboy' will be there.

I shuddered in thought.
